McLaren F1 30th Anniversary Tour 2022 in Italy: GMA T.50, F1 GTR, P1, F1 GTR Long Tail!

- A couple of days ago I learned that the tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Mclaren F1 would be held in Northern Italy and I did everything I could to be present to record and see those amazing machines. For the occasion the organizers managed to gather a total of 13 McLaren F1s, in particular seven F1s, four GTRs and two GTR Long Tails (in this video a dark grey F1 is missing). There was also a nice red McLaren P1 as a 'support vehicle' and I really appreciated the brief presence of a GMA T.50 development prototype, of which I don't hide my tremendous desire to be able to record her amazing sound in the future. Hope you like it!

Few missing from this Epic meeting like the yellow +green Harrolds livery F1 GTR and the FINA - F1 GTR Longtail..
And it looks like a ford fiesta at a supercar show...

It’s absolutely crazy that the McLaren F1 is still the fastest Naturally aspirated car 30 years since it debuted. Absolutely timeless car and a reason why the F1 will always be one of my dream cars. Just an absolute masterpiece

Idk what happened to the Longtail GTR's that raced on JGTC back then, but i would love to see them again. Seeing them with the European GTR Longtails would be a sight to behold. At least the got the LARK F1 GTR 😊
I think the black longtail is one of those cars that raced in the JGTC.

That car has a brake issue. 17:20 or so again you hear it. So does the other Gulf one at 18:05. Driving around in a $30 million car with a sticking or grinding brake on a tour of N Italy? Weird. I always though V-12 Ferraris were the best sound in the world but the V-12 BMW in the McLaren's has the most amazing sound.
As I thought about it, they may have carbon fiber race brakes that have not been warmed up. They are probably not road brakes.
The audio in the static scenes is unbelievably relaxing. Amazing work Bozzy

How good the T.50 looks next to the F1, it doesn't clash at all
look like they could be released in the same year. like the 675 to the 650
IMO the T.50 looks awful when viewed from behind. I'm especially not a fan of the fan, pun intended...
@@TecraX2 It's ok, also fun fact: that's kinda what the F1 would look like (it would have its two fans noticeable instead of concealed) if McLaren didn't implore Gordon Murray to make it more visually stunning.
The T50 is a basically a mk2 F1, and it doesnt disappoint.
I wanted a model F1 LM for my desk. First I found the $700 one and thought that's an absurd price. Then I found the one for $16,000. I can't even afford a model lmao.
Lego just released a McLaren two-car pack for their Speed Champions line... it's got the McLaren VGT (aka Solus GT) and McLaren F1 LM in it. i FLIPPED when i saw it on the shelf at Target, and i bought TWO. haha the set is awesome, and i have the appropriate pieces in my collection to convert the LM into the standard road car if i really wanted to. :D
The P1 is aging beautifully. That maroon colour with silver wheels is stunning.

its interesting cause all the things that Murray didnt liked and therefore changes for the T.50 are the things that i personally absolutely love!
Like the wide air intake and the wheel arches on the back that are more flat and not so prominent.

@@william_SMMA if its all about top speed you end up with the pointless Bugatti Veyron/Chiron, a bloated, fat blob of a car that is only good in a straight line! A car best suited to posing along US roads (of the very long, very straight variety) Around a track the vast majority of far less powerful supercars would annihilate it. The McLaren F1 did 230mph AND could actually go round a corner AND win races (even though it had only been designed as the greatest roadcar not racer) Bugatti top speeds are utterly pointless as there would only be a handful of roads across the world that you'd get even close to their silly top speeds. The Bugatti is the dream car of choice for kids that think that the car with the highest power and top speed is the best.

In terms of pure driving appeal out on twisty European roads I think you could very well be right. In terms of legacy I doubt it since the F1 has speed records (in its day) and racing pedigree which increases its desirability. It’s a cool car regardless.
