Great review. I have a 2021 E63 wagon and it is awesome. I agree with what you say, EVs are so muted and soulless, they are also so heavy and not the correct application for spirited driving. Not until solid state batteries come along.
Don't care bout the outdated tech as long my phone can synch to it..and a banging sound system...M5 is a slight better but their service succs..E63 is a everyday drivers car..where u really can't drive the M5 like that..and the exhaust on the E63 maybe the best stock exhaust of all time..maybe the departed 5.5 RR SVR engine lol
That E63s 2019 is my top favorite body from Mercedes sports sedan IT JUST LOOKS SO MEAN ! I Love that face much more than the new ones , besides it pretty much can do it all .in my list !!

Im considering buying a 2019 right now - 21k miles/3 prior owners (which I cant figure out)....i want this car to last me another 80k miles. With proper care and feeding (e.g. regular maintenance) will this car make it?
I have an ‘18 c63s that I bought when it had 18,000kms(I’m in canada) and I’m now at 97,000kms with no problems except tires and a rear differential issue. Car rides great and I expect it to continue. Will be switching it out for a gt63s in November
I’ll give you sounds better, but it’s nowhere near as good looking. The W212 has a horrendous C pillar angle, it doesn’t look anywhere near as good as a W211 or W213.

i have a 2019 with 18k. did a renntech ecu upgrade. Mama!! midrange pull is insane. my forever car.
I have this same vehicle. It is a amazing machine does it all. Also it’s a MCT not a DCT transmission ☺️

W212 is better looking and sounds better.
I’ll give you sounds better, but it’s nowhere near as good looking. The W212 has a horrendous C pillar angle, it doesn’t look anywhere near as good as a W211 or W213.
