Made in USA! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸Cadillac was my dream when I lived in USSR! And 34 years ago, when I moved to USA my first car was Cadillac 1979! Great American Car!
After the fall of the USSR? Yea, y’all came flooding in the USA.

To me, the best honest reallity show on air. No BS. What you see seems like what it is. I can't wait for YOUR posts.
Thanks man I appreciate that!

Simp much? 😂
Thank you Chris for keeping your videos real. Instead of editing out mistakes. That is just one of the reasons I love your channel. Plus Gus of course.
Gus is a very good mascot, similar to Mortske's Duff. Definitely, keep him in your videos.
you are a bot
I had a 67 coupe DeVille in 1990 . I had it shipped to the UK , it cost all in car and shipping $4000 ... I was twenty five years old , people in the UK thought I'd won the lottery 😂Man it was perfect no rust no filler perfect paint and interior . It had 67000 original miles on it . Apparently it was in a private collection owned by an old fella from Carolina. What an experience to drive everything worked perfectly. Power seats , power antenna, power windows , self seek FM radio , climate control, cruise control and what amazed me for the year was the automatic dipping headlights .And that engine power wow ..Kept it for several years then sold it to put a deposit on my first house ... Wish I still had it !!! That's life though
А тем временем голодные дети Африки умирали пока ты буржуй капиталист наслаждался жизнью😂😂😂😂😂 молодец, я тоже молодец и мне тоже ПОХУЙ 😂😂😂
I hope she finds a good home. She deserves to be on the road again. The more the oldies that are saved the better.
American cars of the 60s and 70s are simply masterpieces! The best cars of that time!
You two and Gus and Turbo ! What a great little family ❤
Omg, as soon as I saw Cadillac, I clicked in a heartbeat 😍
Thanks for rescuing this beauty!
Now we're talking , about time to watch a proper American classic caddy get fixed and cared for. Always wanted one 😔
Buy this one!

I WILL!!! 👍😉💸
Брутальность и мощь этого авто, поражают. Мечта, а не машина ❤
Отличное было время

My absolute favorite year Cadillac. Aesthetically, the classiest of all. Impressive how well it started and ran. Look forward to see what ends up happening to it. I really want one of those someday.
So glad to see someone clean up the engine department before they working.
Chris for the love of god don't sell that Caddy, get her sorted and do a roadtrip!!!!
That thing is awesome 👍
This Cadillac is a majestic car.
Nothing like the later clumpy and bulky design.
"mr. gus...go get the ball gus...repeat...go get the ball..." gus advances and barks at the ambulance. that was the funniest thing i've seen all week. gus is adorable.
Props to that vacuum. It's taken a beating through all your boat, truck and car projects over the years and still going strong.
When it sucked up half the battery box, I knew it was a keeper.
I like the green chair he has in the garage

Nice job on the new shop.that caddy is pretty rusty.
Those cadilac horns are notoriously loud and distinct they are the best electric horns ever
Love your work Chris!! Keep those videos coming!!. I'm still amazed at how that tundra is doing after going underwater.
Great video; I love watching you swoon over your many projects...you're the only person I know who can see the jewel buried in an old rusty beater! Good job!
The TRUNK size on these old cars are legendary!!! They dont make'm like this anymore!!!
That's why the mob loved them! They could fit in more "stuff"
LOVED this video. I have a soft spot in my heart for Cadillacs. I have never owned one but my grandfather always had one, my coworker has one and my boss has one. As a kid up in Teaneck in the late '60s-early '70s there was a corporate Cadillac office nearby. Everybody who worked there drove a Cadillac. If we were lucky, sometimes somebody was coming out to their car to leave and they would ask us if we wanted to look or sit inside it. We used to ride our bikes around in the parking lot and learn what the different shapes of the rear tail lights were for the different year Cadillacs and then quiz each other on what year a certain Caddy was. The '66 had the line down the middle, the '67 and '68 were the same, the '69 had that upper triangle thing, etc. I wish they had kept that original color of yours also, which was called Pinecrest Green Iridescent. The things my brain retains! Your Caddy is in pretty rough shape interiorwise but thank goodness it is in the right hands now. I never had any doubt that you'd get it running.
"Tin Men".
_REAL STEEL!_ Keep them alive! What's left of history, must preserve it.
Really? Car is SO GANGSTER! Hide a bazooka in that thang!
I believe the long horn is called a trumpet horn and was an accessory but normally standard on the eldorados! It was tuned to a "C" pitch and sounded vaguely like a train horn in conjunction with the two standard horns.
My Grandparents bought a 1968 cadillac sedan de ville brand new. Light green metallic, 2 tone green interior, very nice..They were in thier late 70s then. Lifelong Southern California car, it was always garaged. In 1982 when grandpa died at 93, it had 38.000 miles on it! Absolutely like new. Grandma didn't drive any more and sold it..Absolutely in like new condition. I like to think its still in good shape and running around, its possible, my 58 cadillac that my parents bought in 1960 is still on the road.
какая же восхитительная машина❤
man your videos are like theropy to me i had long day of work today and your videos helped me relax my mind and body ...love ur videos keep em coming !!!
I started humming "quiet riots". " slick Black Cadillac" song in my head watching this imagining with the car fixed up again ready for cruising.😊
Great video. I love watching videos like this bringing back old classics like this. Keep up the good work! Much better than watching these cars get crushed in junkyards. Those videos kill me.
Man, there's rough and then there's REALLY rough and then there's this Caddy. Takes a lot of guts to tackle a project this far gone. Kudos!
Nobody can accuse you of picking the easy projects!Yikes!!! Can’t stop laughing about the “spare motor for the airboat” bailout option. You are unique!
👍
Well done man! Hands of gold, for which you do not take everything you do. And you understand all the mechanics. Good luck with your further recovery! Russia St. Petersburg looks at you with great pleasure! It is a pity that we cannot buy such machines and it is very expensive to restore them. I'm just jealous of your garage equipment......
Coolest commercial ever! They don’t make car commercials like that anymore!
Coffee and NNKH. Great way to start a Saturday. Jen is going to need a phone book to drive that ship. Gotta say with all of these old abandoned cars you dig up I bet you find Jimmy Hoffa.
Love these ol Cadillacs!! Nice to see a 60's caddy on the channel. Keep those American barges comin!!
Thanks for clearing something up for me. I always thought Billy Joel was saying drive to the boat and back, not broken back, thanks to you two singing it!😂

I love this year of Cadillac I'm so happy your working on it... 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾I hope you keep it.
When I was 18 I had a white 1967 Cadillac Fleetwood. It had a 429 V8 that was only made for about 2 years. I loved that car. It's one I regret selling.
42:00 That literally looks EXACTLY like the welding shops bathroom where I worked in high school. Same layout, Just as nasty, same orange cleaner jugs piled and no mop in sight. Must be a shop requirement. lol
I dont care what anyone says about you filming the trunk cleaning..
It sure is satisfying to watch😂😂👍
I appreciate to see, there are dachshunds living in America too. I like small
dogs with a big ego and big cars with big engines. Best wishes you two!
I hope acquiring a new property falls into place as one of the most enjoyable things I've witnessed following other automotive channels is talented mechanics getting getting much better working environments for themselves.
Man they sure don’t make them like they used to! She sounds amazingly great for sitting rotting away! Great job!
i love this guy,.... cannot read or write , but singing, , has a beautiful wife, a perfect ship shape German Dachshound , two right hands, a brillant brain .. starts the engine immediately, half an hour later comes the oil, another hour later the cooling water directly out of the swimming pool, than he
is attaching 2 wings on this black super car, and flying away 🎉 hugs dd
That thing is gigantic! back in the day my mom used to drive a 67 Cuda, my dad took it to work. She couldnt drive his 440 - 4 speed Coronet. She borrowed the lady next doors Caddy similar to your new project. That lady didnt drive much, they went to the officers club for lunch (and probably high balls) and wiped out a parked car pulling out of the parking space man was pops pissed haha.
At least she did not wreck your pops 440 😀
Love the way you always clean your projects. So ezy to work on a clean area.
Greetings from Cincinnati says the Mrs has a $10,000,000(thats $ten million) voice. Beautiful singing voice✌️
My step dad had one years ago . He wasn't a good driver and took it into the ditch . Then he tried to crank it out and the front end bit into the ground and it went nose down ass up and over . Landed on it's roof . That roof only collapsed about 3-4 inches . In Canada we refer to those big old boats as "Lead Sleds" .
I love that original color - Ford had one similar in '68 called Lime Green Metallic. And tell Gus Dog that Mortske's Duff Dog woulda got in there!
please dont buy less than 20 acres, you need to move out of state or up near camarata lol, yall are hilarious and so entertaining to watch always butting heads 😀
had a miniature dachshund like that. he lived 19 years. he thought he was a rottweiler. good dog.
I love how to were worried about riding dirty, and the first car you encounter is running dark.
I daily drove a 67 coupe deville for years. That 429 and T400 are an awesome combo. Keep in mind that engine calls for 100 octane
That's good to know I got a 65 ill make sure to get 100
Hey Chris, I just wanted to let you know that I received my hat with custom colored embroidery large NNKH ball cap 🧢. It is a very good weight plus the embroidery is of exceptional quality. Now one of my favorite hats. Appreciate your videos.

Hey Chris,
That’s the least I can do, appreciate your channel. The Gus man is so entertaining to watch too. I like watching your adventures with Jen as well. Take care.
Chasis nya masih lurus dan tidak ada karat, kami montir dari ASIA menyukaimu. Sukses bro..
I had a '66. Flat black with dual exhaust and glass packs. My X girlfriends best friend took a random picture of me at night exiting the car just for fun should've seen the size and the amount of Orbs next to me. 👻 I traded her for a '64 Impala 4 door. Good trade. Love the ride man but pressure wash it next time buddy! That vacuuming was killing me. Lol. Still jealous. 👌👌😎😎👌👌
'66 and '67 are two of my favorite years for Cadillacs. This one has a fantastic original drivetrain, but the body and interior condition put it on that borderline leaning toward a parts donor. Someone with a solid original Western states '67 body and complete interior that had it's drivetrain plucked would be the ideal purchaser for this car. Definitely agree with you though that this car does not belong in a demo derby. Still way too many unobtainium good parts on this car. First time viewer here, Gus made me a new subscriber. 🙂
If I could buy it I’d fix her up. But I don’t have the money. Such a cool car.
As a 5 year old i would sit in the back of these cars and think it was soo big ,i remember saying wow over and over ,just bye it being soo much room .😊
The color is called Pinecrest Green. Very nice when new. Thanks for making this vid!
Awesome find Chris!!
She's a looker. A true living room on wheels.
That Caddy probably weighs more than your truck. LOL. Love it.
Yeah you're right it probably does. LOL. Well I don't know with all the junk I have in the bed I might be a few pounds heavier
I'm from England and I love these old caddys , I know it's not your thing Chris but would to see this fully restored. Love the program keep up the cool work matey
Still a bad azz even sitting for 15 years damnit bro im jealous, salute
I came to this country in 1967 as a graduate student. I saw plenty of these giant luxury cars’
Good to see you again Chris! You always find these great cars! My Gosh I had forgotten how big those trunks were. Can you imagine the camping Tents you could stow in there?. Open the trunk, pull up on a handle and a whole 3 bedroom Tent on a mechanical mechanism would unfold, maybe on a convertible motor system Wow! Love the car!
I just love those big pick up trucks, F150 or F350. Spent 4 months in Canada and it's like there is no oil crisis or environmental issues going on at all. Fantastic!
Just discovered your channel. Love the long format videos of these barn finds in America, and so jealous of these wonderful 60s/70s cars and the rural locations. So much better than here in the UK 👍
I watch a TON of these car rescue creators on CZcams but just your demeanor and explanations alone are enough to make you possibly my favorite of them all. The great projects you pick and hilarious family interactions are just a bonus. There's no reason someone shouldn't restore that car and hopefully film it for YT
The interior vacuum leak may also be the Neutral safety switch. Cadillac's have an auto parking brake release when you put them in gear. If you have a remote trunk release in the glove box it is likely vacuum too as well as the power locks which also can be activated with the door key.
Oh okay, thanks for the info!
Thank you, Buddy!
Your comment is Best!
Good brain❤👍👌
That thing sounds exactly like Christine at 45:04. Mint!!
Cute how your other half knows how to sing harmonies.
Nothing like a nnkh video, i don't know anything about working on cars but it is so comfy watching chris fixin em' right up
Удивительное дело,кеди просто не хочет умирать! По моему один из самых легких запусков двигателя который я видел у вас на канале...Красивый у него был первоначальный цвет. Спасибо,как всегда интересно!
This is an AWESOME car. This is when Cadillac was at the top of their game!! Both this guys trucks are very cool!!

Just yesterday, Oregon passed legislation to let people pump their own gas if they want. The price has to be the same as the other pumps however. NJ is the last hold out.
That's awesome! Yeah I was in Oregon many years ago and learned that it was the only other state. What a stupid rule
You beeing so Clean made me watch Every show you posted. I hate to repeat myself but I really like to work on a clean place. Great job man!
My Uncle drives his 66 Fleetwood daily and cross country for horse sales. He put a new jasper motor in 5 years ago, slightly overheats while driving on long upgrades. Had all the experts come look, still no luck. I hope I'm the one to inherit it
Great Video Chris, What A Cool Old Cadillac, Love The Old Big-Block, V-8, GM Vehicle Of That Era, Those Rims Look Like Jaguar Wheels From The 70’s & 80’s..
LOVE the long format videos Chris. Now make "extended" editions like Lord of the rings. Speaking for myself as a fellow wrench turning I love to see ALL the details.
Great revival! You mentioned cleaning cast iron brake drums and I think with your love of vintage tools, you might consider an electrolysis tank. Super easy to set up and more effective than any other method of cleaning iron or steel. I use it to restore cast iron cookware, tools like spanner wrenches, axes, all kinds of things. All you need is a manual battery charger or at least one with a hold function, scrap metal, water and Soda Wash. Soda wash can be found in the laundry soap aisle or can be made from baking soda by putting it in the oven for 30 min. Once cleaned, the iron can be "seasoned" or steel can be cold blued for protection. Cleaning cookware should have a dedicated tank though and make sure to lead test everything first. Just an idea. Keep up the good work!
I've seen so many will it run videos and I just love how Americans love their cars. In Germany something like that is almost impossible
The air horn is an option it's called an Eldorado horn. You will also have a high and low horns as well
Trumpet horn.
@@jeffrobodine8579I called it a air horn because that's what he referred it to. I had the same set on my 65 Cadillac

If your asphalt gets sweaty with oil when it gets really hot out, take a bag of artery fixed already mixed Smit mix sweep it onto your asphalt. It’ll be like steel. Trust me. It’s an old Italian recipe or asphalt hard.
The glory days of the land yachts, drove a Lincoln that seemed to be 30ft long, 8mpg but back then a twenty spot would fill a 32 gal fuel tank.
Even with all that, I still love to go back..
@@moomoo9143 you got that right, good times. :)
Those 60s Caddys have killer lines.

Full respect to your approach and tricks with such " long time out of order" car, great knowledge and experience. Sound of engine in 50 years old Cadillac priceless!!! ***and this is not a car, this is real CADILLAC 😈.
Caddy’s have a specific type of wheel to hold the original style wheel covers. The outer lip has a re-curved edge to hold the cover!
Well....
You do work on a lot of boats,
And that does fit the definition 😊
Beautiful job, just impressive for an absolute non-mechanic to see with what ease you take everything apart being absolutely confident you will know how to put it back together!
Smart enough to put it back together, wise enough to hide all the leftover screws :)
I know what you mean. I'm really great at taking things apart. Putting them back together? Yea, not so much!

What a tank!! I had a 1970 Nova and wondered why it was classified as a "compact car". Well... one look at this Caddy should answer the question!
