- Most things from Jeff’s house were given or sold away, but I kept onto this. It’s an unfinished Halloween cartoon of the game my dad was making. After my dad died my Uncle wanted to continue the work my brother did. I think it was a means to promote the game, or to expand the platform that these characters appeared on. Honestly though, I think it’s just because Jeff was down on his luck with money, and this was a way he could get more on the side.
I’m glad that everything my dad worked for isn’t gone completely though. I miss him, mom, and Louis, and in a weird way, whenever I see these characters, I feel like I’m with them again.

I love Andy so much because he’s actually fucking normal. I usually don’t care when characters in the genre are dumb, but between “…you took the key to my house?”, “NO! I just want my keys!”, and the entirety of this, Andy has everyone beat.
I also really like how the true characters bleed through in the glitches. Maybe alluding to Isabella not liking Arthur? Arthur deliberately spending alone time with Kamryn? It’s all really good!

But I think that the reason that Felix said it was realistic is because that's where all of them went when they were getting put into the game, their bodies were dragged into the basement so the game would be worked on, the entity took them, and then the game got worked on fully to make them seem like a normal character in it to hide who it truly is

I like how Andy is basically resembles me when I’m in my lucid dreams, intuitive and aware. And the others are just under-reacting.
This video is a large lore implication with Andy being more self aware and then questioning how their anatomy works proving they know this isn’t normal and the part when Andy says she is a good friend and it shows the same monster that is Peter the pumpkin might mean that game theory was right with her probably being the only one left and getting controlled by the monster and the monster in the mansion might have been Peter the pumpin and the body’s in the basement might be more victims who we will see in the game

I will say this, Andy and melody are self aware, but why isn’t anyone talking about felix?
Felix was the first one to be trapped in that game, and he was the mastermind of trapping andy in the barn in the first place. It’s basically like he knew what the entity did to him. Also I theorize this because Felix almost treats andy rudely most of the time, by not giving him a Christmas present on Christmas.

It's so cool that the characters are also their own, well, characters instead of just being creepy dead spirits putting a front. Makes the story more immersive and makes you laugh and feel comfortable so the scary stuff can catch you off guard.

soo, y'all might be confused on who the tall, black, one eyed figure was. i think that might've been Peter in his lanky tall form! and..Claus Melody and Margret might've been able to see Peter in this form cause of Andy falling unconscious from being scared, this might be oddly foreshadowing chapter 2! mainly the scene of the mirror room where Peter was Andy's reflection, in hindsight they're the same person, but they can be separate. well, given certain circumstances. such as Andy falling unconscious and caused Claus Melody and Margret to see Peter for, possibly the first time!

What I like the most about this is that it doesn't rely on cheap jumpscares to get a scare out of you. You did a really good job playing on and building on that sense of dread, and while there were a few minor "jumps" here and there they were well paced and did their job of adding that sense of unease.
The ending is probably one of the scariest I've seen with these types of videos simply because of Margret's line, and what really made my heart stop was we never actually got to see what she was talking about.
Overall, this was a really solid short and I hope to see more like this in the future. Also, its nice for a change to see bits of humor sprinkled out here and there as it not only provides comic relief but adds "innocence" to the video.

Now I hope to not just be given a game update, but also be given another animated film with Andy the Apple and friends (plus Peter the Pumpkin), maybe during Thanksgiving and/or Christmas and so on and so forth! I'm serious, I think Andy the Apple is your BEST creation ever!!

Almost missed Halloween IN 10 MINUTES
The stronger film grain effect really sells the idea of an unfinished animation, and at some points, you can see a shadow of the character outlines, like the shadow of a cel against a background.
And the horror visuals are on point too. Atmospheric and used perfectly. Cracking little Halloween special!
I instantly widened my eyes when i heard Felix say " *The bodies in the basement? So realistic!* " and then Margaret said " *Felix, we didnt put any bodies in the basement..* " That just shook me, and i instantly remembered the tall black thing they saw before they got out the house.
I loved watching this, I got hooked, and it even gave me inspiration to make an EP of my mini-series, Sodor Supernatural, thanks creator, I'll leave the credits in the description if I make the video
