@@behealthygarlicbread4957Ange would never change formations. His whole philosophy relies on his formation that allows the fullbacks to become midfielders. I’m not saying that’s a good thing.

It's a terrible idea. The only way it would work is if we allow Romero to move into the mid field and have vdv tuck in as cb

He's a professional footballer that never actually plays football, spends his entire career in the treatment room and getting paid silly money for it!
We should really play a 3-5-2 for the rest of the season.
Don’t forget that Ange Postecoglou was the manager of Brisbane Roar and no doubt has connections and Intel about players at the club that others would not be privy to.
I would also add that Newcastle signed Garang Kuol from Central Coast Mariners - that signing was £300,000 IIRC and if we're talking about someone at a similar age, from the A-League, I would imagine this would be at a similar price

Ben Davies is a trust worthy defender and it would be prudent to let him watch Saka without going forward. Porro can do the forward forrays.
Parrot to AZ could work. Make weight to get Pavlidis who I believe we should be targeting a a big target back up striker. And he is Greek. So good Ange connection there.

Why the heck would we suddenly change from 4 to 3!? It would be absolutely crazy to do that, especially when we have a perfectly decent player in Davies to simply drop in. This would affect every aspect of the formation through midfield, out wide and up front. Of all the games to completely revamp our formation, this game is not it! This was peddled by fans last season (albeit the other way around), and look how that worked out for Stellini..

I think van de ven or Emerson need to play left back. We need some pace on saka. I would play Davies lcb if vdv plays left back. Dragusin hasn’t been great and Davies played outstanding as a lcb
Davies has been excellent this season. Emerson Royal for the most part has been woeful.

I do think Ben Davies will not be able to handle Saka so it would be better If van de van goes to that left wing and have our Centre backs as romero and drugsin and have Porro if his back or play royal if not.
For the Australian star no ways. Why make that purchase
- I would like to see Sess in Serie A tbh would fit him nicely but I hope he finds a new club & revives his career.
- I wished Gil worked but a team in La Liga or Serie A would fit him.
- I believe Parrott can shine outside of Spurs & hopefully grow into his potential
- Waddingham we shouldn't be signing we have Donley, Scarlett, Lankshear & many more bright strikers coming in
- I would love to see VDV LB then we put Dragusin in the LCB role but if Davies puts in a good defensive shift then that's all I ask

Davies at LB standing next to Vicario might work. If he even moves out of the 18 box, Saka will go past him all day, not to mention Foden and Palmer etc.
Davies has been solid whenever called upon this season. Emerson Royal let him down numerous times when they both started. As long as Royal remains on the bench... Spurs have a chance for all 3 points. COYS!!!
