Son was not just let down yesterday. It was throughout the season. Look at the chances created and big chances created that weren't converted and how many times our wingers failed to pass to wide open Son. He deserve to play with better level of players. If he can't get it at Tottenham, he should move to better team.

I would argue he hasn’t been playing above the other forwards. He’s standing still after he gets the ball 90 percent of the time. He loses out to tackles from recovering midfielders picking his pocket about as often as he manages a pass. And those passes he does make are almost never progressive. He needs to be on the wing. He got by as a striker in the beginning of the season, but he’s not useful down the center in a team that focuses this heavily on crosses.

@@dfinch7804 He is not being fed when he is open in front of the goa even when he was wide open. Just a last 3 games alone, 8 times with wasted shots. What do you expect him to do when he is not getting the ball at critical times.

@@btsgalaxy5832 yeah no. Those moments you’re talking about he’s often the second or third best option for a pass and sometimes he’s in worse position to score than the ballcarrier. Ffs in the city match he’s complaining to bentancur for taking a wide open shot and not passing to him when he’s marked by a defender standing right next to him. He’s playing poorly and he’s not immune to criticism.

VDV played like a natural left back. It is time to play Dragusin with Romero to train and get Dragusin learn about the system. VDV was so good in this match: He so fast at the back and so good at the front and as a left back VDV could, can and will do the job as left back.

The talks of Cuti Romero as a Num. 6 shouldn't really be ignored imo...I'll say just have a knack at it during one of our friendly games, presumably Newcastle since, they are in the same league as us and maybe, Bayern Munich as well. We tried Skipp at Left - Back and VDV at that position as well so why not ??? Also would benefit me personally and hopefully everyone the most is seeing Dragusin get more consistent game time at Romero's CB position for next season.

It's worth a try, because I think Romero has a higher ceiling, than Rodri @ City.

I've been calling for it since he scored that cracker at the beginning of the season. He is decent on the ball, excellent defensively, physical, and has an eye for a line splitting pass. I'm sure he could adjust to the role, perhaps a 2nd or 3rd stringer option.
