This was very confusing,seemed like an informative subject with a knowledgable person that got hijacked with unneeded music over the talking and nonsense acting.
Getting to bare metal on flat metal, mostly outer side, is easy with any grinder. But getting in tiny areas like inner doors or inside pillars is nearly impossible. How to get the rust off of that areas?
What Grit for the DA ??
Do you suggest using any short strand fibreglass filler over welded areas prior to epoxy? Or does that get applied after the epoxy as well? Thanks.
We definitely recommend doing any short strand under the epoxy.
How would you treat some rusty areas before priming? Do you have to sand blast? Do rust encapsulators work? Chemical rust removers?
If its slightly pitted rust you can sand blast. However the best option regarding rust is to cut it out and weld in a new patch

I have a car that hase been sitting awhile was shot with ppg expoxy primer im seeing somelight rust forming can i scuff the whole car and reshoot it again?Thanks
if the rust is forming underneath the epoxy you need to strip it down to bare metal and start fresh

why doesn't anyone do a video on how to do a complete start to finish on fiberglass bodies and panels???
You can do your filler over bare metal as longest you used gloves and there no surface rust been doing this for 36 years never had a problem as longest you used epoxy on your body work and bare metal

We prefer to use an automotive Wax and Grease Remover. It was designed for paint related products.

This is the problem with your video rid the dam BS and get to the point you are wasting my time . Better yet ill just cut the thing after this and move on to something else.

I got tired of shops using too much bondo on 35k paint jobs. No more, i ship my classics out of the country to Switzerland. I have a metal magician.. after shipping both ways, paint and body is much cheaper..
your editing sucks on this , get rid of the music and bubba and get to the point
