- hi my name is kat and i have to read 5 books in 15 days to complete my 2019 reading challenge goal. LET'S FREAKIN DO THIS!!!!!

Me: One book to read to complete my Goodreads challenge. "This is impossible! There's not enough time!" Stares at the hundreds of TBR books on my shelf. "What do I even read!?"
Kat: "5 books 15 days no problem and most of them are around 500 pages."
Me: Glaring at nothing. "I wish I had superpowers like that."
I surpassed my Goodreads goal this year,and now I'm "free" to read outside my original list. Definitely will be picking up some of the books here, lots of books that I'm sure I would love - especially Ninth House and The Starless Sea, I've been wanting to read them since they came out.
Mood reading. Legit. I have one book left to meet my challenge and I'm 90% done with a book but... I really wanted to start this whole other book! Lol

Oh this is so motivating! My reading goal went so far out the window this year. I just had a baby and suddenly my craving to read again is so strong! Nothing like late night feedings and devouring a good book! ^_^ Good luck with your goals, Kat!

I pledged 50 and finished that around June (i dont even know how) so I upped it by 5 every time I finished the new goal (50 to 55 to 60 etc.). I stopped upping it by 5 now because my mental goal after finishing my original goal was 100 books. (Technically a couple books I read multiple times)

I just met my reading goal of 100 books, it is such a relief and it's the first and probably the last time I will read so much in a year.

I relate to being a mood reader so much. It makes it hard to figure out what I want read next.
I’m writing a book that has an Inception kinda spin on it! I should definitely pick up Reverie and look for your read along!

I read both Skyward and Starsight this year and they're easily my favorites of the entire year. I really want to encourage you to read Starsight RIGHT NOW but I also can't argue with your logic in waiting because

I'm five books away from my goal as well but I read fast so I'm not worried. Might read one or two comic books if time gets awsy from me.

Yes, 2019 has lasted so long. I think summer was at least nine months long. I don't set a challenge but I'm curious to see if I'll hit 200 books before the end of the year which means I have to read three books. I can't schedule reading at all but I am definitely interested in reading Reverie soon. Just hearing drag queen sorceress sold me on the book.

A friend on twitter said Ninth House can be described as a modern version of The Diviners by Libba Bray. I really hesitated picking it up but NOW I NEED to read it ASAP because The Diviners is one of my fave series ever. So brb reading Ninth House.
I've got 4 until I reach my goal of 120 I'm half way through about 3 different books. Shouldn't be to hard to finish my goal but now that is so close. Need to get on that

i've been intrigued to get the ninth house it seems really interesting but i'm not sure how i feel about it right now
I've got 6 books to read before the end of the year if I want to finish my reading challenge. But I'm not going to stress bout it. I've read around 70-80 books this year, (I'm not counting the DNFs because I didn't finish them)

I had a goal of 30 books at the start of this year, but hit 25 at the beginning of this month. I figured I couldn't fit 5 books in the rest of this month, so I gave up. (The 1k-paged IT by Stephen King is next on my list.)

I’ve actually had a pretty good reading challenge this year I was a bit late to the party and stared my challenge in may but I set myself 50 cause that’s doable right I’m currently on 55 and so far I’ve read a book every day this week

Katytastic I’m out of a really toxic job situation in September, not as I *wanted* to so it was a shock but it’s definitely been better since.
Tbh you could read The Toll in one sitting, if i would have read it in one sitting and i also know that i could do it, but i still had school and homework so i read it in like three days
p.s. i also need to read 5 more books to complete my goodreads reading challenge, so lets see if i succeed
