  • Join us as we explore the bustling Welsh Village of Betws-y-Coed, known for its ancient Pont-y-Pair bridge - built in 1468 - and nearby Swallow Falls waterfall. Also a popular meeting place for bikers in Wales and Conwy . The Victorian Village of Betws-y-Coed is set in the forest and is home to many shops including lots of outdoor activity shops.
We walk around the town, grab some Pizza and Ice Cream from the popular Pizzeria and Ice Cream Parlour. We also take in the beautiful Pont-y-Pair Bridge and also visit Swallow Falls top see if it is worth the £2 entry fee.
The railway at Betws-y-Coed is also well preserved and there is a great park for the kids to play and have fun! We also show you what shops are in Betws-y-Coed!
We truly feel that Betws-y-Coed is one of the best places to visit in North Wales with lots of things to do. It would be a great base for a holiday to explore the rest of the welsh countryside and coastline. In fact, Betws-y-Coed is also known as the Gateway to Snowdonia!
For our family weekend away we stayed in the nearby area of Blaenau Ffestiniog and visited other nearby towns and castles too - such as Porthmadog and Harlech Castle - so be sure to subscribe to see more videos like this.
