      I am sure you mean well, but we all need to be very careful whst we are eating. Reused oil, previously heated to boiling point, causes chemical changes and becomes carcinogenic (cancer causing).
      All these stocks and seasoning salts are also very bad for our kidney's, liver &heart because of its high colestoral, high salt content and suspicious ingredients. Prolong use of these additives are harmful.
      I am sure you can make beautiful jolof rice without these addatives. Our mother did, but we have become dependant on it and feel we cannot manage without it.

    I watched both your last jollof video and this one and to be sincere I don’t understand the hate. If you can make jollof rice, why then are you watching a video on how to make jollof rice?       I always hear jollof rice I know it is fried rice and each country has their own way to cook their fried rice. I’m from Ivory Coast but I like your video of Nigeria fried rice call jollof it look like yours might be spicy anyway I learn a new way to do fried rice you just earned a new sub fiber also I also like the rice you use I’m going to cook next week.     This is lovely and for those who say you should have per boiled the rice don’t know how to cook authentic jollof rice. Never never per boil rice for jollof rice except you are cooking concoction

      @@asavelamzimkhulu6969 get Ghana jollof recipe. I've had both, hands down Ghana jollof is far better, it is soooooo good!!! Try using Jasmine rice. I'm not sure what rice the Nigerians use, it seems off to me.

    For those saying she didn't parboil before cooking... You can parboil small quantity of rice but you can't parboil half -to -a bag of rice, no need. Just wash with salt, use bell pepper and good tin tomato paste to enhance the red color.

    Closest to the way I make my jollof... although I parboil my rice for a few minutes (roughly 7mins) before stirring into the tomato sauce so I don’t need to use water to cook at all! Plus I use a little nutmeg at the end... my secret spice! and I don’t mean to brag but my jollof is insane!. Well done, looks good!

    You have simplified the cooking especially for us in your neighbourhood. Sometimes I find it hard to follow pepper mix measurement especially when it comes to Nigerian pepper. At least all the ingredients you used are readily available here. Well done. 👏🏾👌🏾

    Does cooking it on gas burner make that smoky jollof taste? You know party jollof smokiness? And if you use liquid smoke will you get the same results?

    Watching this in 2020 has reminded me how Nigerian jollof 🇳🇬cooking process has changed over the years and now the majority of Nigerians cook it similarly to that of the Ghanaian jollof 🇬🇭 process, thanks to CZcams 😁. 7 yrs ago the cooking was different.

    Yeah I prefer using the oil I used in frying my meat it gives more flavour to the food whether is Stew or jellof rice. The rice looks beautiful...that's a big pot...

    I don’t use seasoning cubes to cook here in America cos my family get a massive headache when I do because of the MSG in the cubes. So i use my adobo seasoning in place of that. And the food comes out quite nice. Thanks for the video
