  • I show some of the steps I took to update a large master bath. Demoed all the old things, like the huge whirlpool tub that wasn't used a lot and a moldy shower pan that had disconnected at the drain line. There are some great water features to the bathroom and it definitely has a cleaner and more modern feel. The fixtures were primarily Delta, though there were some unique faucets and heads from other manufacturers.

30k just for labor or total?

Total for labor and materials. Though the light fixtures were not a part of that because the client bought those themselves.

I find it ridiculous to have that many different shower sprays. No one needs more that just a normal shower head setup with a handheld spray attached to it. These things with all the different shower heads are just over priced, over complicated and add a ton more points of possible failure. Regardless of my opinion on the shower heads, the work looks well done.

If you're looking at it from a necessary standpoint then I suppose most of that bathroom would fall out of that scope, but the family that lives there has a bunch of kiddos and they say it's like a splash pad and that they've enjoyed it. Also, it's a rather large house and really needed a "wow" bathroom because resale value can be hurt if the bathrooms and kitchen don't match the house (I had fun doing it too, so there's that). Practicality isn't a bad thing though.

Apparently you have never heard of Rheumatoid Arthritis or other syndromes that multiple shower head ]s will reduce some pain??? This is not all just about you sir. You must think bigger . Many people need hydro treatments where a jacuzzi tub won’t work.
