I wanted to mention in one sentence that Stuttgart were almost relegated last season, but have now finished second ahead of Bayern.

This Bayer Leverkusen team is the definition of a team. I don’t think many people paid attention to the quality of their squad depth. If they can keep most of their players, they would be competing in the champions league next season

Leverkusen are unbelievable this season they deserve lot of credit for the way they played in all competitions Stuttgart deserve appreciation as well they are playing in relegation playoffs at June last year now they finished 2nd in the league above Bayern Bundesliga this season proved that their football doesn't rely on Bayern they have very good teams that can win games also Heidenheim's 8th place finish in debut season needs lots of credit

Everything about this Leverkusen team is simply special.
i would argue that there are a few super stars in the team(Wirtz, Xhaka, Grimaldo, Frimpong and Tah to me have been the stars of Leverkusen this season) But Leverkusen have become mentality monsters, everyone seems to be even better after the 90th minute of the match, especially players like Schick and Andrich that have scored a lot of clutch goals.

Yes some luck for injuries is needed, but Leverkusen simply overcame all of it with squad depth and strong team comprehension, spirit whatever you want to call it.
Boniface injury, Africa cup taking away 75% of their defense, Arthur being injured almost full season, players falling out of form - there were alot of close situations, but it mostly came down to their will forcing their style through, for me personally Pala's goal vs Augsburg was a peak.

It's Tiki Taka Style
They are dominating their opponents and force them deep into their own side, the defenders are mostly around the middle line or even sometiems go all down, very aggressive counter pressing when possible, similar to City but more stable against counters, they only took 1 counter goal all season. Thats the normal play style, they can also play it defensly and play for counter attacks like vs Bayern in their home game winning 3-0 and Bayern didnt even get 1 chance all game, Kane had like 10 Ball touches. Quite versatile tbh in the lastest games they also tried more of a direct style. Also rotating alot, in the first 17 games they had allways the same starting 11, in the next 17 games they changed each game, sometimes drastically. Versus Bayern no Frimpong, no Schick, no Boniface/Palacios (injured) and they crushed them.

@@benzyluu2684 Frimpong is very fast, if u give him space on the wing he can outrun most of the defensive players but he is not very good in finshing by himself, he will often run to the baseline and then pass back or in the middle for someone to push the ball over the line. Grimaldo is a pass machine just like Xhaka and Wirtz, they can take out any defence just by passing the ball around within the smallest space(Tiki Taka) and his flanking and corners and freekicks are very dangerous, on point.
