What I appreciate the most about this show is how it explains how these celebrities got into these positions, instead of just talking about their work. Something surprisingly not commonplace with a lot of interviews.
I really want to get into the industry and it's reassuring hearing how flawed so many of them are and how they were able to find their big break.
I fucking relate to him so hard.

Sam Fraser I have a sneaking suspicion that Dan Harmon is best as a co-creator. Harmon got really close to Community and I think it wasn't always a good thing. Without Justin Roiland, Rick and Morty just wouldn't be as good.
+Benjamin Rujopakarn I think it's that Dan is best when he's at his most grounded. At Community, he was the crazy one, which made for some great TV but also some uncomfortable situations. At Rick & Morty, Justin Roiland's the crazy one, so Dan gets to focus on his strengths: story structure, character development, etc.

wow, acceptable tv was a major part of my childhood. my middle school time. my younger brother and i really loved it, we would vote online and everything. i still show people operation kitten calendar clips. acceptable tv was sketch comedy gold and gave me laughter & joy in a time i needed it most. thanks dan harmon i appreciate you.
Whether you like Dan Harmon or not, you have to admit that he tells a pretty good story.

Jim Novak They both added to the show in different ways. Troy was clearly more popular but the difference was obvious when Pierce left.

I am such a crazy fangirl for Community; I was so excited to see that Dan Harmon is on Speakeasy (another thing I'm a crazy fangirl of). In this interview, Harmon was just like his show, dark and fucking hilarious. Great interview! I loved his insight into network executives. And of course, as usual, PFT is the perfect host/interviewer. And that mustache, god bless it, is back in action.

this is crazy, the two podcasts I listen to most are Spontaneanation and Harmon Town. Interesting chemistry between these guys, I like it.

Still, you might want to check into some form of therapy...or try and find a nice girl and then check into couples therapy. Would that not be a more productive use of your time than living out aggression-fantasies on youtube comments? Although, that might be better than making more 'rant' videos...I would advise against that in the future.

Don't say that. He's exactly right for television, exhibits Community and Rick&Morty. Television is where he thrives, there's no reason to fix what isn't broken. Just think of Serenity and Avengers. Everyone thought Joss Whedon could do no wrong ever and if Firefly was how he did TV his movies would be mind blowing. Instead they look like overproduced TV episodes that lack the continuity of a "season" preceding or following them. I for one want Whedon to go back to TV for good, and I want other talented TV makers including Dan Harmon to stay right there with him.
Dan seems like a really smart person, but also really hard to work with
God this man has such a passion and talent for television and entertainment. No wonder I love his shows so much.
I'm always confused when people are able to put all of my feelings towards tv into words. Dan Harmon did it in: They didn't watch ______ to make themselves feel better. (Blank, cuz it's different for everyone).

Ironic that Dan Harmon mentioned Comedy Central not wanting holiday episodes, because they picked up syndication rights to Community and I remember specifically watching the Christmas special (TOW they prepared for regionals haha) on CC.

love all his interviews. But often i wish he would talk about certain things more. Like we all know him mostly for community but it was a pretty small part of the interview, and i wish he got to talk a little more about its cancellation and return and the actors, specifically donald.
