Wild Storm is one of the most fun ones. Got him for 5 bucks.
Even though i couldnt move all of my skylanders into my new apartment, after i moved out from my parents, i still took Wildstorm with me. He proudly sits in his spot in my shelf, and my eyes fill with glee, when they land on him. Im just happy, i got him, when he was still affordable. Probably my favorite Skylander ever
pet vac is so much cheaper because he came in a buddy pack with series 3 jet vac. plus pet vac has his variant which is so randomly common it keeps the price low

I got Wild Storm for 30 dollars.
And that was when Imaginators was still officially fresh and selling.
I would gladly trade a Wild Storm for a Robow.
I also have Wild Storm, but I got him when i was a kid I've got no clue what the price is
Dark Bowser goes for 80+ dollars yet he's not on this list??? Its currently my rarest figure...
Im actually a owner of royal double trouble, because i got him for 50 dollars. Crazy to think there is such a market for this.
i got him hella cheap from gamestop used back when they did buy one get three free i think he was $10 or less
Chompy Mage: thankfully, Christmas one is cheaper.

I'm glad we got a new video but I predicted robow and I didn't expect the price to be that expensive.
I remember that a few years ago i asked my mother if i could buy Breeze, as Whirlwind is my favorite and my first non-starter pack skylander (series 2), but i remember that i give up for her insane price (100-150+ dollars/euros to get a completely umboxed new version of her along Pet-Vec). One year later after that, i don't know how, but my mother found a completely new version of Breeze and Pet-Vac for only 23 Euros from a German seller! Not only that, but they also sent us a duplicate (yes, i have two Breezes and two Pet-Vacs)

I actually have Spotlight and Blackout and they're definitely my favorite figures in my collection! A friend gave me their giant Skylanders collection and it was mostly stuff from the first 3 games, but there were a few Trap Team figures, including those two!
Wow, I still have royal double trouble still in the battlegrounds box it came in, with 2 other skylanders, portal, etc. That's super cool.
I DO remember seeing Thrillipede in Best Buy once in, like, 2016.

I got echo for 8$ back in 2020, one of my luckiest finds. Also recently I lost a bid that sold a spotlight for about 35$ rip
I was extremely lucky to get chompy mage for only 80$ including shipping, i was shocked to see him that low as well as bought both ro-bow and wildstorm as from the store when they came out
I picked up Blackout at Best Buy (I think) back in the day because he was awesome. Crazy that he’s expensive now.
Honestly, this makes me really happy to actually own Ro-Bow and Wildstorm from STORES! Wild I know, but yeah.

I got lucky and purchased him on EBay right before Skylanders officially died and exploded in pricing for rare ones. I got him for $70 in near mint condition👍

One of my finest skylander finds was when I found blackout for around 37$ (translated from my currency to dollars)
Happened to find the Box for Ro-Bow in my basement, but I have no Idea where the figure itself is though I also havent searched yet

Fun fact, I was that person who bought the villain 5 pack at the launch of Imaginators.
I can tell you RoBow was the very last figure to be released and was around November-Decmeber of 2017. I could kick myself for not picking up 4 Robow packs for 15 a piece when toys r us was selling them for half off. I knew he was going to be a rare figure being released late and that he was only stocked at one of four of my local Tru's. So unfortunately I only have 1 which I opened but I still have the box.
I did however import a chompy Mage from the Uk for $80 bucks and I still currently have him sealed. I was on the fence paying that much at the time but I needed him to complete the collection so I caughed up the doe... luckily I did. I'm half tempted to get him graded as I'm sure he'll grade very high. We have about 10 or so years until the kids who grew up with it are at about the right age to start recapturing their childhood and when they do these will see a massive spike in price.
Purchased a Royal double trouble from Gamestop Online when he was selling for $15 but I was pissed as someone wrote DR in sharpie on his back and I can't get it off.
As for Blackout and Spotlight, missed them originally at retail so I had to track them down used at Gamestop and when I did it was during the buy 2 get 3 free promotion. Funny enough two weeks after driving 40 minutes away for that purchase the manager at my local Gamestop traded in her entire collection so I snagged her blackout and spotlight so I have doubles of those.
This list is really only for at retail figures as some of the chase figures and employee figures go for big bucks. The only chase I ever ended up with was a Patina Shield Striker which was sold directly on GS website as the chase variant. I was supposed to order a few but didn't have the money so I got one. Unfortunately the one I got the glue gave away at the top... still sealed but partially opened 😢.
Either way I'm happy with my collection. I'd say the best collection belongs to Brylander as far as I'm aware he has every figure released sealed and opened. Including all the employee figures, all of tge chase figures and a ton of custom ordered Imaginators which I wanted but never ponied up for which really sucks cause those go anywhere from 500-2000 depending on how cool the figure looks.
I’m sure this sounds fake, but I have a Ro-Bow that I got for less than a dollar at a thrift store ‘cause it came in some random bag of like...20ish skylanders that I got for $7 CAD. Had no clue it was so expensive/rare, but like, damn, I’m keeping it now
The bad thing is, I had every one of the big three but sold them for like 30 bucks.

Even in Europe Thrilepede is hard to find, trust me, i've search for 3 years now, he's high in price + lil flex, i got ro-bow for 2€ in a clearance sale lmao i'm so happy
I know its not about the $$ in collecting but its nice to see how much my collection is worth currently vs how much i spent on it at the time. I have doubles of every skylander and their in game variants so they each can go on their separate skill tree paths and the plan is to level them all up to max level.

One skylander that also is pretty expensive is kaos in imaginators. I went to buy him in toysrus when imaginators was about to die. And i was at least 9 years old at that time. Lucky me😊😅
If you are one of the few lucky people who actually own any of these characters good for you! In my honest opinion.. none of these skylanders are worth it at all for those ridiculous prices. Awesome video Cloud!

What is the difference if you know between a Tech flying helmet trap to a Tech flying helmet trap Pre Loaded?
Am asking this as am not sure if the is 2 Variant of each trap as this is what my collection app is saying and am a bit confused.

The prices on these are hilarious and mind blowing🤯 I have Spotlight, Echo and Blackout, as well as Green Chompy Mage, Wild Storm and Ro-Bow on NFC cards! I wish I could have had the physical figures, but with those outrageous prices... I'll rather keep my NFC cards with them!
I got Spotlight and Echo very early, when they were still able to be found in stores (GameStop), so I was lucky to find them for a manageable price back then, ridiculous how much they can be found for this day...🥲
I find it pretty sad that Breeze is worth so much, because she is one of the skylanders I want the most... In fact, now, such high prices is not okay for one single skylander at all, but for a Mini, this price is just far too much!
Also, for people who wants a Thrillipede, I'll say try to find the variant, Eggcited Thrillipede! I have ordered him from Ebay, waiting for him to arrive in the mail! He is much cheaper than the original version, plus I think that design looks great!🤍🐇
