Hillary was investigated, when Congress summoned her she answered questions for 11 hours without invoking the 5th amendment once. Trump was summoned and he only plead the 5th, didn't answer anything. He wouldn't cooperate so 2 grand juries got involved and both said to try him. It's a clear cut and dry legal case. He should go to jail if he's found guilty, his own words.
We're not threatening these people hard enough. They are accountable to the Senate and to the American people, and if they refuse to answer, the consequences should be swift, up to and including jail time until they decide to speak.

Every federal employee takes an oath to defend the Constitution. There is no oath to defend the FBI or the President at the expense of the Constitution.
Obviously those juicy fruits have a special oath that replaces the plebeian oath. They have become the opposition party; they have Durbin performing acts of contrition while Cruz is asking reasonable questions.
Herein lies the problem;
Nearly 90% of all federal government employees are registered Democrats. They don't reflect the 70/30% ideological mirror of Americans populace, whereas 70% are ideologically on the conservative spectrum, and only 30% on the liberal spectrum.
