What I've learned is when flying outdoors, remove the prop guards. The prop guards are additional surface areas that will catch more wind and push your Tello. Good video 👍.
The Tello flies so smooth it's almost insane compared to all the other drones in its class! Best drone for the money!

I absolutely love your channel and agree with your statements. I think the Tello is amazing for not having GPS! It’s actually my go to drone, above my Bebop 2 and DJI Spark. The Tello is stupid easy to set up and “Oh so” stable! I see a lot of youtubers out there kind of quietly hating on this drone...I’m not certain but do feel the negative vibes. ...this does make me feel sad. I’m heading to the Gulf Coast in a couple weeks and plan to shoot a cinematic video for my channel using the Tello. Yes, I’ll bring my Spark...but the Spark is over saturated and boring!
Fly Bar I hope you do some cinematic Tello footage too. It's so much more impressive seeing a cinematic Tello video than a Spark.

I never knew the Tello could handle wind. But maaaaaan this new Mini2 is a BEAST in the wind. I've really been enjoying it. I got a Tello for my nephews and niece. Hoping they're enjoying it.

@@ajalvarez1387 Omg bro, that video made me nervous. 🤣🤣🤣🤣The Mini2 is definitely amazing compared to my Phantom 3 Standard. I love the phantom but this one is so much smaller and easier to carry around and seems to fight wind even better than my Phantom. I only have a small issue where it drifts a tiny bit near my big metal carport. I've actually flown it under the carport and over the top of an RV under the carport close to the ceiling with no problem though. I may just need to do some fine tuning on the settings. Or may be because there's lots if WIFI in my area and a football stadium right behind my back yard. I've got over 175 miles of drone flying with my phantom so I've been able to fly close to branches and my roof without any crashing thank God! This little thing is a BEAST packed into 249 grams!!!! I can't WAIT to fly at SPI, TX!!!!!!!! Been dying to take it to the beach just haven't had time. 🤦🏻♂️😭

May I know your mobile spec, mine here video lag with wifi extender 😕
But one bad thing is that there are so many frame drops, You can´t see it when it hower in the same position, but when you fly around, then it very frustrating to lose the frames. WiFi extender is the only way to use this as a camera drone with good video results. But even with an extender it is not perfect.
But this is the most stable and best drone so far for that price. It is a fantastic product and if there will come a new version, as can record without frame drops, than this will be winner even if it will cost 10 - 20$ more.

Old firmware without low alt speed limit. With the new firmware 1.78.04.01 your tello can't stand that kinda wind below say like a meter! Ryze implemented for safety to people. It is dumb and I told them to remove it!

My tello gets flown away in high winds. I had full battery and propeller guards were present. Please suggest how should I use so that the drone does not get flown away by the wind

CyberHollow You shouldn’t get blown by the wind did you have the prop guards on maybe are you on low battery you should be able to handle that without no problem..

I simply cannot believe that. I've got a Tello and I stop flying it because it is impossible to fly with smooth winds. What is the trick? Maybe DJI improved firmware in a newer release??
