Having a 68 Oldsmobile Toronado. I'm worried about oiling issues. I have overheating issues too lol. 455 Oldsmobiles have oiling issues, are 2 bolt mains, and the mains are huge at 3in. Torque monsters and nice power.
I think there should be plenty of bulletproofing options on the aftermarket to address that for those motors. BPO big blocks are not lacking for aftermarket support.
The mustang looks good. So what it doesnt have a million horsepower, the exterior looks cool.

Motor mounts fix most of that issue, and it's less of an issue with big turbos.

Nuttiest Subaru build I've seen is a friend of mine's. He has an Outback, lifted on 30in KO2s, with a winch and skidplates ... and a full STI drivetrain swap with 400hp out of a built motor haha. the car is bonkers.

Been doing a lot of research and very much debating getting some sort of project car. Though I'm not sure as a 6'3 tall guy if I would fit very comfortably in some of the more popular project cars. Still very new to the scene, figured do as much research as I can before I end up buying something and regretting it later.

Hi bro the 2 Forresters are from Australia hence the p plate ( probation period licence) here in Australia those owners have what's considered as good cars since in most states p platers have restrictions on the type of cars they can drive yet what they have well done

I know the girl who owns the V6 Mustang. 3.7 is a good engine, pretty capable. Is she doing too much? Yes. But most Ford V6s are rated for E85, I don’t doubt it can run it being the 3.7 since my FPIU can run E85.
I think the 3.7 is flex fuel? Not that it makes any difference on a stock motor aside from the 20% hit to fuel economy. Still nice for a quick-ish daily if you live someplace without winter.

Depends on the car. For dailys they're fine. For drag cars where you're actually trying to win they're essential. Same deal with track cars if they have a modern automatic or dual clutch. Manuals are more fun, but autos are faster on most modern cars.
