I generally like Melbourne, but in this video, the laneways looked really grim. The weather and probably day/hour had a say, but hope the next video will show the more beautiful areas of the city. Anyway, enjoy the time in Au.

Glad to see you enjoying the totally stable Melbourne weather. I agree that Melbourne is very "homely". A very European city I always say. I hope you enjoyed your stay...I wouldn't live anywhere else ( although I do miss British pubs occasionally).

We’ve visited Melbourne quite a few times now- and loved finding the local comedy nights. Trams are fun. The Market is great. The Immigration Museum was fascinating. We used an apartment hotel with a fabulous kitchen and walking distance to everything. The Arcades are fun but expensive.

Hi guys, welcome to melbourne. Do try and get to an afl football game, state library, 333 Collins St, and the arcades. If you feel like spending the money our zoo is fab.

Love Melbourne! If you’re still there, make a trip to one of my favorite restaurants I’ve found there called Coda ( haven’t been for 4 yrs). Cocktails were perfect and I dream of the crispy shrimp appetizer. Cozy atmosphere.

So great you are in Melbourne! Enjoy! Not surprised you feel at home considering that many Australians have relatives which immigrated from England. New Zealand is the same.

It is so wonderful to see you in a different environment from the last areas you have been traveling. We too have put off Australia and New Zealand because we wanted to visit some other lower cost locations so you can be sure we will be watching your upcoming travel videos. We have been contemplating a Pacific Rim trip and will head out to South America soon....on our upswing, we will hit the Australia/Asia side of the world....thanks for helping us out and have a great time!

Glad you both made it to Australia, even if unintentionally. Hope you get to visit another state or two whilst you’re here. We’re off to the UK in July to visit our daughter who’s living there at the moment. Sometimes there’s some comfort in familiarity 😊. Enjoy the rest of your time here!

So Melbourne Australia was not in the plan eh? 🤣 Well, so glad you made it there. The video was excellent and much appreciated. 💚
We are reminded that, "Life is what happens to us [you] while we are [you're busy] making other plans."
This piece of wisdom can be credited to Allen Saunders in Reader's Digest 1957 (and of course, made famous with John Lennon's song, where he used the quote, [altering just a few words].

I live in Melboune and the place looked very quiet and too be honest dirty. I know you like to surprise your subscribers, however, it maybe good to reach out on community if you are going to a city. Many of the locals that live there know all the hidden gems around their city. There are much better places and restaurants and vibe out of the CBD in Melbourne and would be a shame if you have missed them

Does it feel strange to be walking down the street with the camera?

Do we benefit from completing a W8-BEN form as we aren’t US nationals? I’m unsure whether completing this form lowers costs for index fund holders containing US stocks. Do you know?

We could be related mate my ancestors came from England to Australia in 1880..l am Australian l don't recognise England or l don't even realy think about England only if the cricket is on or tennis is the only time l think oh that's England l never want to go there or any other country doesn't really interest me..USA would be the most influence on Australians and our food yes it's probably more British types but we think it as Australian ...why would l want to live anywhere else Australia is so big we can go on an adventure every week and see a new town or beach or area and you will never see it all in your life time..its an adventure...so if your English or American Nz or candadian we all get along quite well came over to Oz if you like it's quite safe...nothing to stress about in Australia 🇦🇺 you can relax and take it easy...
