Back in 1989/90 under Howard Wilkinson in April 1990 Leeds won one, drew three and lost two but still won the Division Two title on goal difference from Sheffield United. In 2024 we've lost our first game after an unbeaten run of 15 with 13 wins. Don't understand people writing Leeds off after a defeat against Coventry who also beat Leicester 3-1.

Exactly right. We had a proper wobble in 89/90, and still got the job done. This team has the character to finish it too. We aren't going to breeze every game.
Sometimes a loss gives you a kick up the a*** you need to push on. Other teams have difficult games left. Still all to play for.

Bamford is not a big game player. No player has shown a greater ability for letting us down in crucial moments in key games.
I had this fixture and Borough away as a potential loss or draw. Don’t think it justified a meltdown. Ipswich playing them and hull back to back will be a key moment if we’re still there.

The clue is in the headline 'Time for cool heads' Bamford bashing, and all the other nonsense that has no place now, must be set aside. When teams operate in a low block, there is no opportunity for Bamford to drag central defenders around, and thereby create the space for the attack to exploit. I'm sure Farke and the back room staff will find the tactical tweeks required.

We need to remember… we are not paid to be the manager. Yes we can have opinions but ultimately our job is as supporters. How well are we all doing that? Motivating, inspiring and supporting the manager and the players? Are we all 10/10 perfect role model supporters every week??

“Not Farke’s style” - sometimes games need something beyond ‘style’ - otherwise it’s indulgent.
But….. truth is though, our results in ‘24 have been phenomenal yet we’re out of the top two.
You hear that the league can’t be lost in August, and perhaps it wasn’t, but being so slow out of the blocks made the rest of the season a real challenge. Weird league!!

My mate who is a Leicester fan, has been saying Leeds will get beat by Southampton in the play off final since the first week of the season. Ive always thought he was talking out of his arse. I’ve just asked him for the lotto numbers!!!!

It’s 5 cup finals to get back to one of the best leagues in the world! If Farke can’t tub thump at this stage and players can’t get motivated for these games, which appears to be the case from the on pitch performance then there is no hope. It’s all well and good being pragmatic and saying these things happen etc etc but pragmatism is good at the start of the season, not with 5 games to go with the stakes as big as they are!
Played without intensity, too slow moving the ball and lost the ball far too often.

Farke is showing he isn’t Premier League material If he uses those tactics in the Prem you won’t last the first half of the season you’ll be eating your Christmas Turkey at home with the misses and the kids.
I really think Joseph is a class act and has lot of potential but don’t understand the constant rubbishing of him from fellow CZcamsrs and podcasters alike. His game yesterday was outstanding we should be talking about Joseph’s movement as Firpo took the free kick he was so quick he got to the ball first and passed it to Piroe before Piroe touched the ball Joseph had his hands in the air celebrating the goal only for Piroe to fluff it. This guy is a baller and I think he elevates us as a team in attack.
But he is not in the Premier league. He is using the tactics that are effective in the Championship. Think man! Stop saying the first thing that enters your head

@@TheMicj38 Pep Guardiola was coach of Barcelona B when they were in the 3rd division of the Spanish League and gained them promotion to the top tier in as many season playing his brand of football. Later on he was offered the first team position and his coaching style carried through. I don’t understand your point.
