    How much of the recent form could be put down to the lack of player rotation, game to game but also in game? With our squad, we had the luxury to be able to rotate more without losing as much but it hasn’t happened. Sure Struijk injury has cost us but so has not having a right back to being forced into limited on our CM rotation but that comes down to Farke too. It would be a mistake to sack him - crazy - but it would be nice to see him learning and adapting to what has happened this season.

    Thing with Leeds fans and our past heartbreaks is that we still remember and almost wear the scars with pride where as clubs like Man City have forgotten that they were like a bad smell in manchester for many many years. They think there was nothing before the money came. In no way would i like to be like these glory supporters who seem to crawl out from under a rock but i think it would do all of the leeds mob good for a new dawn and something to show us we are not like that any more. Playoffs is as good a time as any to do that. Still confident huddersfield beat ipswich and piroe scores a worldy for a 1-0 win though 😅.

    As usual an intelligent discussion on where we are now , set in the context of previous 16 seasons up and down. I think the bit you missed was the role of the Elland Road crowd. Press reporters and fans visiting talk about Leeds being a "fortress" " passionate fans" ' just like the Geordies for sheer support" etc etc;
    But you all know the down side of that, as the Leeds crowd get anxious very quickly and that spreads onto the pitch with players rushing a pass or whatever.
    The long term paranoia of the collective that is the Leeds fan base means there's as much bile as this is blind support for players. One bad game and he is `"shite" sell him now".
    Maybe in a large city with a single Football club ( sorry about that Guiseley AFC) with a strong Rugby League support base, fans of LUFC are too thin on the ground in the city itself?

    I understand the presenters have to let the fan base down gently, as they wouldn't in the future be drip fed by the club if they were very harsh. I have to observed this, Farke knew exactly what the injury situation was with all of the players, he even played a player who had just had an operation and was clearly off form, but still played him. Piroe through no fault of his own had hardly played, but he was a top scorer for the last two seasons, so why was he bought, you don't waste 16M on a player and then let him sit on the bench despite some have said he doesn't fit the system, how about integrating the player into the favoured system? This extends to the rotation in the squad, he knew he was handling internationals, who would want to play for their country and likely be injured where was the planning in that regard and a backup plan? He clearly does not rate the bench, so in that case why are they here, he could pick the U23's, Anthony has come from the PL only to sit on the bench for most of the season, as with the rest of the bench. The fact is that Rutter, Cree, Gnonto and BumFluff were being relied upon to win matches, Farke became complacent and when the goals dried up, partly due to teams working how how to stop it, he couldn't switch to plan B. Then theres the issue with the midfield, of which Rutter is part of, in the last 6 games the midfield has been non existent, so he didn't fix it whys that? Then theirs the appalling stats on dead ball, freekick and corners, we don't score any? And then there's the diabolical late substitution's and throwing on all of your attackers in the dying embers of a game where's the strategy in that? Seriously Farke has been found out, he was riding on the back of quite a lot of brilliant moments in games where realistically we weren't playing very well, even after xams I thought in many games we were fortunate to win. Your not going to be remembered for scoring 90 points and getting third place. Farke had not just one chance to secure promotion he had several, and he couldn't get the team at his disposal to get results, despite the condition of the squad. The team in my opinion had lost confidence in Farke, after Sunderland and BB game, and then fell out with themselves when the goals started going in from weaker opposition, this was our crystal palace moment of last season of which saw Gracia being sacked a few games later. I said this before, we need to sell all of the luxury players like Gnonto, Summerville, Rutter, Meslier, Firpo, Piroe, Gelhardt, Darlow, Cooper, BumFluff and others and get in some hard working pros, who won't give up or spit their dummy out when the going gets tough. When the going got tough Ipswich stepped up to plate and grabbed the opportunity, Leeds didn't, that's down to Farke and a lot on the players you cannot ignore it. Nine players from last season are in this team, there's a coincidence to what happened last year and what happened in this, we need to let go of players, you cannot keep on hoping that things are going to change it won't. We have played the bottom 8 teams they are down there for a good reason the table does not lie! We have overachieved this season and we are not good enough. Farke out.
