    OK! Good job for this video. But I've a question: you've showed with a anhydride. If I want to use a acetyl chloride, how can I perform the FC reaction? Obviously, the care that I shall have with AlCl3 and their salts should be the same.

    hey Dr. can you tell me for how many moles of starting materials you used 4ml acid for extraction? can you give me some suggestion if reaction is carried out between anhydride and thiophene?

    Chirurgical work.....
    The FC acylation is very moisture sensitive. The air humidity seems way too high in the lab to perform this reaction thuis far in (sub) tropical area's..
    Any clever ideas to lower the air humidity in the lab under these conditions?
    Maybe someone is smarter then me but..
