and that's why in the recent UN talks, Mahmoud Abbas refused to mention any jewish rights to any land.. while Netanyahu has said he's willing to accept a palestinian state (it's a second one!). The Arabs will not share. They will not recognise that there are two people with valid claims. Only themselves.

remember also that if one wants to refer to historic palestine, it was across both banks of the jordan river, and the PLO , the palestine arab national movement founded in 1964, declared it wanted both sides, an interestingly enough, excluded what is now the disputed territory. Shows how special that land was to them!

For one thing, the Arabs only lost homes when they started a war. And furthermore, after WW1 the Arabs had -nothing-. Britain then awarded them some arab states, then an arab palestinian state from "historic palestine" or mandatory palestine, called Transjordan which then became called the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, which was almost called the Hashemite Kingdom of Palestine. Residents of "historic palestine" are palestinians. They didn't call themselves transjordanians..

In the meantime, during the times of the Ottoman Empire, the west, like Britain still called it Palestine, but not the residents there. And when then the Ottomans lost it and the allies took the middle east after WW1, the British reintroduced the name Palestine. Residents were known not as Palestinians but as Palestine Jews and Palestine Arabs. The arabs resisted it but then insisted on it when they saw it was politically a good tactic for them!

Just to be accurate, there were Palestine Jews and Palestine Arabs.. not really palestinians but anyway. And the Arabs didn't call it Palestine, and denied there was such a thing, they knew it was South Syria. and were arab nationalists. not palestine or palestinian nationalists. Just a "technicality" there. The first movement for their aspirations was in 1964 and funnily enough it included both sides of the Jordan river and excluded of all places, the disputed territory!

You like to use the term extremist as if Arabs that deny Jews a homeland are a fringe group, but they are more than mainstream and always have been. The evidence of this, is their insistence on a so-called "right of return" within Israel's borders, which sounds nice but is camouflaged talk, because they know and admit it would mean the end of the jewish homeland/state.

When I said "arabs can't live with arabs" you interpreted that as some absolute rule for all arabs at all time past and forever, based on their ethnicity. But with a little thought you could interpret it in a sane way, based on what is going on in the world, and what has been going on. Sunni killing Shia for example. Persecution of Christians. For whatever reasons e.g. Their religion and culture.

The jewish claim to that land as made by Netanyahu for example, is not based on a religious text.. I wouldn't make a personal statement about you that you're an anti-semite. But there are beliefs, false beliefs that if believed would inspire hatred of jews.. (by that definition- anti-semitic beliefs), that you are at risk of unknowingly adopting.

Jews and Arabs have a right to have grievances towards each other, (jews would have far more grievances than they do, if arabs intentions had come or even come to fruition). Both have a claim to that land, claims that can be compared. And rights to self-determination.

And I don't know what you have in mind by "subjugating" arabs. You made the insane statement that if Israel or Jews gives Arabs "their rights" then Arabs won't kill Jews.. The Arabs have rights.. But not the right to deny Jews their right to a homeland. For the Arabs, a Jewish state alongside a Palestinian state, whether the Palestinian state is Jordan, or west or jordan, a Jewish state of any size, is unacceptable. They want the right to destroy it.
The people you call "European Jews" have more in common genetically with Jews from Iraq,Iran,Egypt,Yemen, than they do with Europeans. Similarly, Jews from the middle east have more in common with Jews in Europe than they do with their neighbours. See the research in peer reviewed journals.
