I think it's creators who are blamed. They literally ruined Teen Titans itself now because of this the show well be cancelled and it well be the worst days of animation and cable.
I knew it was turning 10 this year. But I thought it came out in September of 2013. Wow! Michael and Arron can still make good things though. They directed the Mario Movie.
Teen Titans Go will probably be the next SpongeBob or Simpsons in the sense that it goes on forever, since it sure as heck isn’t slowing down, regardless of quality.
Those three, Sesame Street and Ninjago will go on forever while Doctor Who will come back 15 years after being cancelled and go on for decades only to be cancelled again- rinse, wash, repeat
To be fair though, I wouldn’t want to risk it turning bad like others shows did. The final episode “Things Change” was a very bold way to end the show but it still felt very final.
You know if most of these cancelled shows that lasted 1-5 seasons were still running they would have gotten worse. Heck Some shows had one season and weren’t that good.

I’m biased since my dad used to just have it on when my brother and I were younger but whilst I know most of the Humor sucks, I do admit they do have som funny jokes
I watched it when I was younger. I thank it for introducing me to the characters and ultimately leading me to discover the original show, which I love dearly. Plus, though I am not a fan of TTG anymore, I have to praise it for how willing the writers are to experiment.

Since it didn’t seem like this show would be going away anytime, I just sort of moved on after the first movie came out. It just seemed better to not give it so much hate and just ignore it’s existence. (Plus it seemed funnier to think that the show would constantly make of fun of people who dislike it when in reality it’s making of people who aren’t even there.)
That was a good decision. Complaining on cartoons is really just a waste of time. We've got more important stuff to do with our lives than do something foolish like that.

Ed, Edd n Eddy is my #1 favorite CN show and nothing will change that. To me, it doesn’t matter if Teen Titans GO! overtakes it, EEnE will always be the longest running CN show to me. But I respect the crew for making it this long. Another thing is that TTG was made by WB Animation, not CN Studios. Even though Ed, Edd n Eddy wasn’t made by those two studios, it is still the longest running "original" CN show.

Teen Titans Go! really grew on me. The writers found there own unique sense of madcap random humor overtime. I still think Go to The Movies is one of the funniest superhero parodies out there.
The show was mediocre at it worst but the movie is actually funny and humorous. Parodying multiple superheroes and poking fun at itself wanted to have a movie about them which is ironic.
The show isn't as bad as many make it out to be, but it most definitely overstayed its welcome. Let alone becoming the longest running show on the network.

Ed Edd n Eddy will still remain as CN's longest original production, since TTG is a Warner Bros. Animation production. TTG is technically a CN original, but only technically.
Despite its controversies, I'd like to think that there's still some hope for animation, especially with CN, if TTG! has been able to survive for so long. Maybe this could lead to more comic relief spin offs of the DCverse?

Honestly, I don't think this will break the record for longest run of a CN show, since TTG is actually NOT a CN original. It's basically a show that CN has the rights to premiere, but not to make, like Ninjago and maybe Total Drama, where they can air new episodes on the network, but they aren't original to it. I'm sorry if this doesn't make any sense, but I tried my best to explain why TTG will not break the record that was mentioned.

One thing I'm curious about, does Ninjago count? Granted Ninjago went through a bit of a soft restart between seasons 10 and 11, but even then the season count and episode count kept going, and it remained a part of the same continuity. I remember they talked about pulling Ninjago from CN for how terribly they treated the show, but I have no idea when that actually happened, I want to say season 14. If you were to count the full original 15 seasons from before they properly reset the count and jumped networks, Ninjago ran from Jan 2011 to Oct 2022 so it still has TTG beat by a tad. 11 years and 10 months. Unfortunately, that gap is closing fast...
I really think that if this show had different main characters it'd probably be more appreciated, but obviously gain less traction. (also people would be happier if Teen Titans never ended) Anyways, for how much this show's getting hate, it's surprising for how long it's still running! The show kind of grew up with me. It adapted to my sence of humor as I aged. Sure some jokes were bad but overall it stayed consistent. A few years ago I stopped watching, because it reverted to even more juvenile humor than ever before. That and I had just discovered story based shows like infinity train and avatar. It will always be a special show to me, but at some point I just grew out of it. Was the original better, by ten miles yes. But this was at least something to enjoy during my late child and early teenage years.
I remember when i first watch Teen Titans Go! back in 2016, i usely don't hate this show but i miss the old Teen Titans Go! (I'm talking about the Season 1 - Season 4 Teen Titans Go.)
Aifht, nut warner and can have basically been merged into a studio so it's real silly to act like it's all of a sudden disqualified because it's made by a different animation studio that is still owned by the same company that owns cn.
It's hard to believe that this show has gone on for 10 years now. And upon hearing that this show will take up a majority of the schedule again, I think I might be getting PTSD flashbacks to Christmas of 2017 where they aired TTG for 99% of the schedule. Anybody remember that?
I really really hope Season 8 will be the last season of the show. TTG has been running for way too long, and I think it's about time it came to a close already. Since Cartoon Network is currently working on some new TV shows, it's probably time to bring an end to TTG to make room for newer, better shows. Hopefully, if Season 8 really is the last season, they'll find a way to give the show a satisfying ending. It'll not just be for the good of the channel, but for the staff and cast behind TTG. They're probably getting tired of working on the show and want to move on to other things.
If this show would've had good humor, better writing, and a little more action like the original, I would’ve tolerate this show and watch it a little more.

People still want a Season 6 of The Original Teen Titans, but honestly, I'm not sure if I want one anymore. They've constantly been teasing and trolling us about it for years upon years upon years. No matter which version is better, I have grown sick of Teen Titans as a whole and moved on to better stuff.

Ed Edd n Eddy will still remain as CN's longest original production, since TTG is a Warner Bros. Animation production. TTG is technically a CN original, but only technically.
Despite its controversies, I'd like to think that there's still some hope for animation, especially with CN, if TTG! has been able to survive for so long. Maybe this could lead to more comic relief spin offs of the DCverse?

Honestly, I don't think this will break the record for longest run of a CN show, since TTG is actually NOT a CN original. It's basically a show that CN has the rights to premiere, but not to make, like Ninjago and maybe Total Drama, where they can air new episodes on the network, but they aren't original to it.
I'm sorry if this doesn't make any sense, but I tried my best to explain why TTG will not break the record that was mentioned.

One thing I'm curious about, does Ninjago count?
Granted Ninjago went through a bit of a soft restart between seasons 10 and 11, but even then the season count and episode count kept going, and it remained a part of the same continuity. I remember they talked about pulling Ninjago from CN for how terribly they treated the show, but I have no idea when that actually happened, I want to say season 14.
If you were to count the full original 15 seasons from before they properly reset the count and jumped networks, Ninjago ran from Jan 2011 to Oct 2022 so it still has TTG beat by a tad. 11 years and 10 months. Unfortunately, that gap is closing fast...
It maybe the longest running Show on Cartoon Network, but it's not a Cartoon Network Original compare to Ed, Edd n Eddy.

To be fair, at least the original ended while it was still strong and didn’t get milked dry like other shows did.
I really think that if this show had different main characters it'd probably be more appreciated, but obviously gain less traction. (also people would be happier if Teen Titans never ended)

The show kind of grew up with me. It adapted to my sence of humor as I aged. Sure some jokes were bad but overall it stayed consistent. A few years ago I stopped watching, because it reverted to even more juvenile humor than ever before. That and I had just discovered story based shows like infinity train and avatar. It will always be a special show to me, but at some point I just grew out of it. Was the original better, by ten miles yes. But this was at least something to enjoy during my late child and early teenage years.

I got tired of it in like June 2016 and haven’t really watched much of it since.
I really really hope Season 8 will be the last season of the show. TTG has been running for way too long, and I think it's about time it came to a close already. Since Cartoon Network is currently working on some new TV shows, it's probably time to bring an end to TTG to make room for newer, better shows. Hopefully, if Season 8 really is the last season, they'll find a way to give the show a satisfying ending. It'll not just be for the good of the channel, but for the staff and cast behind TTG. They're probably getting tired of working on the show and want to move on to other things.
One of my guilty pleasures is the fact that I still watch this show unironically and I am not ashamed of it

This doesnt have anything to do with the network. It was made for kids and kids like it, adults hate it but most adults don't watch CN. If kids keep watching the show keeps airing.

Why is this show still going on? Nobody likes it except for 7 year olds without streaming services. If they were that desperate for money, they could’ve at least chose a better show to make last this long.
