@@temidayomomoh1112 I can also recall so many fouls that she would have called, but didn't so the game would be free-flowing. She only started calling fouls towards the end because it was getting more aggressive. We didn't get a yellow until late into the 2nd half. Pretty decent officiating by my book. And for the 2nd AND 3RD goals we had disallowed, Osimhen handled the ball. He didn't even protest against the decisions cos he knew what he did

Nigerians once again, pay attention and read. Like I stated before the beginning of the tournament that Osimeh is going to struggle to score goals. Nigerians said I don't know what I am talking about, that he is the African footballer of the Year. So what? First his form has dipped recently, and this is not Napoli where he has creative midfielders and wingers to set him up to score. This is not European football where teams play with creativity, this is AFRICAN FOOTBALL....KICK AND FOLLOW.. i told you guys that Boniface is way better than Osimeh, because Boniface is craft with the ball,, he can dribble and create his own chances, he is also good with assist. He can dribble past defenders and set it up for someone to score. Go watch his games.Osimeh is not that kind of guy. Osimeh is the type of guy that faces the goal post and just shoots, hoping it will go in.
I stated that Gift Orban should have been In this team. Orban is good with both feet, can dribble as well and very fast. We don't have good dribblers on the team that can create chances. Do you guys remember back in the day with OKOCHA, AMUNIEKE, SIASIA,..etc. these guys were good on the ball that can open up spaces for other players.
Unfortunately, Osimeh is still going to be starting for the team, and I think he should be a sub, and give the other strikers a chance. He should not be starting right now, but once again, Nigerian will say I don't know what I am talking about.. I said the same thing about Oshola before the womens world cup. I stated she will barely score in the world cup, Nigerians said I dont know football, that she scored 100 goals for her club barcelona. What happened? The only goal she scored was a defensive error. If not that, she wouldn't have scored at all. The moment Boniface and Orban were not on the team, I knew Nigeria would struggle to score goals.
I completely concur with your assertions. There's no creative player to make clear chances for Oshimen and that's gonna cost Nigeria especially with selfish players like Chukwueze who wants limelight too.

My exact thought, Why control with the left foot? he could have conveniently stopped that ball with a right foot and set himself up for a goal! the left foot control only pushed the ball further towards the goalkeeper! I keep saying it, we are not Clinical in front of the goal!
