That was a goal by Osimhen. The VAR did not prove it to be offside. The body language of the ref showed he was biased against Nigeria. We won in the end. We are a better squad than Angola. They had the psychological edge because we are a more well-known team of a country with a football reputation. They had little to lose. However, Super Eagles demoralized them early by their display of football mastery. Their captain gave up. With better composure, we could have scored at least two more goals, perhaps concede one.

Their defense was a little bit "vulnerable" yesterday because of the instructions per their coach to completely put the game beyond the Angolans' reach . They were never under pressure rather there was need to add to the goal scored hence few mistakes by our attackers and strikers that could have resulted into more goals for us. We foiled Angolans' plans-period . Angola became confused and couldn't contain the pressure mounted by The Super Eagles. In reality the score should have been 3-1 in favor of The Super Eagles if all chances were converted.
