- Ableton Live pro tip: Feedback Sampling is an innovative sound design technique for the creation of atmospherics, noise sweeps, risers, bass, synths, sample packs, sampler, wavetables etc.
So what do you think? is feedback sampling a new synthesis technique?
Do you use feedback in your sound design for you own music productions?
I haven't met many people that use it....just sayin

The reverb thing you do in the end is really nice! Gives me ideas to make atmospheres with this trick

That's dope, some drum and bass/neurofunk producers usually do this technique too
This is awesome. Thank you very much! Greetings from Berlin
Thanks
Wow! This was very informative. I would love to see more of this kinda stuff tbh. Well done!
I tried emulating guitar amp feedback in Ableton, but was dissatisfied with the outcome. So I gave up experimenting in that direction.
But using feedback for pure synthesis, on the other hand, is BRILLIANT! Thanks!
man i loved this.
Best sound I've heard for a while.. Thanks mate. Great technique. Well explained as well.. Subscribed..
Love this, thanks a lot for this tutorial! Would love to see more :)
Outboard gear but the dude who made the doom soundtracks crunched sine waves with white noise doing this trick and got some crazy results! Props on finding out how to do it in the daw
This is a great way to have a "signature sound"
Dude this is sick!
Great tutorial! this should have way more views.
That's dope, some drum and bass/neurofunk producers usually do this technique too
Dope. For tonal sfx, I'd throw a tuner at the end of the chain to make sure you're not sharp or flat.
You could always just pitch shift the audio file after to fit the key …more creating less engineering
Awesome video. Much love to you.
What are some other tutorial series videos that have unusual techniques like this one?
Does anyone know how to do this in FLstudio? I cant figure out how to feed it into itself or set up the resampler
Another Random guy just use fruity granulizer and some flanger modulations
FL sucks. Get a real daw.
oh tha is really easy just go to sike use a.b.le.ton
Can't wait for your next video. I'm trying your advices on Reason and IT WORKSSSSS SMOOTHLY!!!!
Thx to share, dude!
i had to pause to take a minute after a while when he was playing with the sound, shit was hypnotic lmao
Quite neat, you should upload more, do you plan on it?
I’ve let this content run in autopilot…I’d love to make a bunch of new content…planning n doing that soon!
wow pat, glad to see youre still at it! still have the tshirts from the first producers meetup
holy shit
YOU ARE BACK!!!!!! YESSSS
Been a crazy life....there'll be more coming
@@Oskillator yessss I love your content
@@isaac3360 Thanks brother!! More INCOMING!!!
@@Oskillator hi again, i miss you 😥 are you good?
OH DAMN BOI YOU MADE A RISER :OOOOOO
Wait. I used to always see deadmau5 stream highlights on this channel. Is this Mr. Oskillator himself, or another highlight of some sort?
Cooool!!! But I don’t understand: the channel out and aux output where are go?
Are you in ableton?
No. I ask you to do it again on Logic :) @@Oskillator
@@codydj937 are you using the new logic?
Oskillator 10.4 😊
@@codydj937 ...no idea. You need to somehow figure out how to reroute the output of a channel back into it's input forming a loop. PUT A LIMITER ON YOUR OUTPUT FIRST :) !!!
I like to think that your channel name is based on the way FrankJavCee pronounces "oscillator"
Let me know anyone else using this technique! I CAN'T BE the only one doing this!
Why not make a riser in a synthesizer, you know, without fear of destroying you speakers?
I didn't know this technique before and now I do. Thank u Oskillator!! XD
I cant figure out how to do it in Cubase...
not sure....it's been a while....can you route one channel into another and then back into the first? Anyone?
@@Oskillator Cubase forbids feedback, full stop. Unless there's a 3rd party cheat, EG... a "Send and Receive" VST like Senderella? Although I totally can't guarantee that'd work, haven't tried it, gave up and used Ableton instead. Apparently even Bitwig forbids feedback, too. Bitwig, right?
fun fact, oskillator was panda eyes' original artist name lmao
