Feedback can be an extremely powerful sound design tool if you can learn to control it. In this video we look at how you can create brand new sounds using controlled feedback in Ableton Live.

Video on Feedback : "If you RESONATED with my style ..."

This is one of the best sound design tutorials ever. Well done and thanks a million!
You're always killin it with your vids, ty so much man
Yasss. Thank you! Inspired as heck to try these. You are a fantastic teacher.
This is so cool. Thanks for laying it out so clearly!
Always the best content on the platform.
this was incredibly helpful and so cool thank you!
PERFECT START OF THE WEEK
Looking forward to this. For sound design in Live - Seed to Stage is king. Your couple vids on automation, for me - life changing! Respect. And keep up those giggles...
Love the envelope follower thing. Can’t wait to get home and try it.
Just wow. This is awesome!
This is so fun! You are a GREAT teacher. :)
love your videos man !!!
Fun stuff. Cool tips
Really needed this in the algorithm. Thanks
Dude this is Gold. Thank you
Holy shit…..this is how Sophie and Flume make that sound.
Thanks for sharing, great content as always! For completeness, you don't need the second audio track - if you send the return track into itself (after enabling the send, A in this case) you will get the same feedback loop. But as mentioned, don't forget the limiter on the return :).
Beautiful! Thank you !
The man! Good stuff as always!
Thanks, this was super inspiring!
Surprising, hypnotic, awesome... Like all your vids. In my mind, on all channels concerning Ableton Live (so good), music in the box, mix, plug etc, yours is one of the best. Thanks a lot.
I am more and more interested in your courses. 👀
Thank you so much for this!!!
Very instructive vid..Thanks
Fantastic,thanks a lot for this trick !!
amazing! thanks for sharing this!!!
Super glitchy stuff! Lovly bro!
Thanks legend this is wicked! 👌
Love it thankyou
ghostly good, thanks teach!
na but fr you are a sweetheart for teaching us all your genius ways thank you so much man
great tricks man. Do you mess around with these ideas on the modular? I only have a Fusion delay which doesn't have cv for feedback control, but this could be really cool.
Yep.. today just became a sound design day
i'm signign up for the sound design courese when i get back home. i've gotten a handle on the rest but its bout that time cuz i want to write the most original dance music possible. lfg brother
24:20. Resonate. .. Hah. GEt it? Reeesssssoooonnnnaaatttteeeee
thank you! is it possible to download the ableton project?
This was great, but what's the difference between this method and putting all the FX on return track and feeding it back into itself via the Send knob?
Midi tracks can’t receive audio inputs back from a return, hence the other track. Much of the time in this video the original sound im making is coming from a midi track.
@@SeedtoStage Yes, but what you're doing is you have audio track with some FX, send it to Return track and get it back to that audio track. I think the same effect would be achieved by just putting the FX on Return track and routing it back into itself with send knob on top of that Return track. But maybe I'm wrong :)
Was wondering the same thing, don’t really see how this makes a difference, Im usually doing it the way you said.
So the infinity stone is on planet Feedback, not Morag, right?
I cannot find the feedback presets on the gumroad
same here
