The ironic thing is that while wolf hierarchies can not be characterized into alpha and beta among the males, our closest ancestors chimps can actually be fit into this system pretty well. Chimp hierarchies and takeovers are like an episode of game of thrones.

From what I’ve been taught, “irregardless” is more specific than that and is meant to more or less shut down a back and forth of “regardlesses”. So it’d be like:
    “Statement.”
    “Regardless, rebuttal.”
    “REGARDLESS, rebuttal rebuttal.”
    “IRREGARDLESS, shut down.”

Hey @RaraPremium, thanks for the comment! You're right, an audio example at 3:45 would have been a nice touch. I will keep that in mind for future videos.

How it was used centuries ago and how it's used today are very different. One of the few people I saw only use X-mas was this dude who hated Christianity.
And I guarantee you people using xmas aren't thinking about some centuries old greek word. The common modern word is Christmas. People don't say happy xmas when they speak. They say merry Christmas.
So whatever the root was, secular people found it a convenient thing to appropriate.
All you can say that is that it's origins wasn't about taking Christ out of Christmas. But most people including myself don't care about where and when it originated nor had any idea of when or how it originated because it's not relevant to how it's applied in the modern time. Today it is used in that way. When we are saying that it's about taking Christ out of Christmas, we aren't making an origins claim. We're making a claim based on what we observe in the modern day.
If you want to use that argument then basically every modern word in its application can be argued into whatever you want to argue it into because if you go back far enough you can find some old root word that had a different application during that time.
