@@rumpestillskin4671 Yup. After you gain a few decades of experience and tens of thousands of references for your unquestioned expertise on fishing reels, the world might listen to you over Tani. As of today, we do not. Avet makes a fine reel. It is not an International nor Tiara.
@@rumpestillskin4671 Excellent. Notice people like Tani never tell you that your reel is poor, or his is better. Probably why people listen to him versus people yelling in all caps that PeNn’S sUcK! There’s a laundry list of reasons the big game boats run Internationals and Tiagras.
Might wanna note that the further the line dwindles on the spool the higher the "actual drag" becomes.

What do you mean by lose free spool
the more drag, the more pressure against the spool and at a point with any reel you will loose freespool.

whos going to be holding the reel at 40lbs and above of drag, either its going to slip out of your hands or yoiu are going for a swim.
JUST BUY A GOOD REEL IN THE FIRST PLACE. AVET IS A MUCH BETTER REEL THEY ALSO RIGHT OR LEFT HANDED MODELS.
