- 2GB and 4BC radio broadcaster Ray Hadley says businesses in Alice Springs are terrified as police in the area are “powerless” to stop crime.
He said alcohol is only part of the problem.
“There is a whole range of young Indigenous people with bugger all to do,” he told Sky News host Paul Murray.
“We’ve got to give them something to do, we’ve got to really guide them into being a bit more productive.”
Having plain clothes / undercover cops actually patrolling the streets is a far better solution than the various liberal social programs. Using an actual prison is what it is.

All you hear on this issue is 'bring them to the table' and 'have a conversation'. The clashing parties are fundamentally incompatible, like plugging an AC power supply into a DC appliance. You can't converse the fried circuit board back to life.

Hold on hold on , it's happening in the cities too not just in alice springs . For decades city aboriginals have drug and alcohol problems where the kids never go to school and out all night getting up to no good then sleeping during the day to do it all again the next night . They fight each other with knives , bats and your bloody fence palings . When you speak up about it you are called racist . Police come and take some away , after a couple of hours they're out back doing the same thing. Lets be realistic about what is happening and start telling the truth. I keep hearing about culture but from what I have had to live with is not a culture that should be promoted or to be proud of . This has happened for 3 generations that I have witnessed first hand . It's frightening and no body should have to put up with this happening and it's getting worse by the day . All Albo will do is say this is why we have to have the voice . Lets see Albo go and visit without all the protection and media around him with hidden cameras recording his every terrified move .

Alcohol is and has always been the worst drug ever and they never say much about it. Seems like every day they come up with a new name for the most dangerous drug ever.
