- The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth says ABC Managing Director David Anderson was a “hot mess” when he was grilled by the Senate about the Alice Springs report which breached the company’s own impartiality guidelines.
“That performance by David Anderson, who let's remind you is paid about $1 million a year, didn’t really seem to know what was going on under his watch,” she told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
“I think he was shown today that he’s not in control of what journalists and editorials are putting out on their platforms.”
The average Australian worker give up approx 3 weeks of their wages in their life to fund the ABC.
Give me my 3 weeks back and I’ll get Netflix, defund this crap.

It was weird. In Alice Springs I didn't see klansman riding on horses lynching blacks, Aboriginals could use any service they wanted, there was no segregation, Australians were not beating them up for fun and police were not terrorising Aboriginal for morbid thrills. The Guardian and the ABC told me Alice is like it was in Alabama in the 1950s.

ABC must be broken up to a collection of different political minority groups funded by subscription and not funded by the citizens of Australia. ABC is not working for or providing a benefit for at lease 50% of all Australians. And therefore must be defunded.

Two months later the WaPo released an article that they were wrong blaming right wing folk on the chaos and that the spearhead were mostly Antifa and other left wing radicals as well as opportunist.
The ABC never made a correction about their error. It's important to accurately report issues and make corrections when they are blatantly incorrect.

Things have changed in journalism. It used to be about objectivity, in providing balance in news stories, now it's not.
