Defending champion Lisa Sargeant skates early in the order and gets caught in some late prdinal flips, resulting in a 3rd place finish in the original program at the 1991 Canadian Figure Skating Championships in Saskatoon.

i skated with lisa at the royal glenora club during this time, along with browning yami and slipchuk and galindo....i have never seen anyone since work harder than lisa. she had spectacular talent, i think her her heart started to break when there was speculation on her weight....mostly due to loss of muscle not having to do figures for 5 hours a day, not the eating problems commentators rumored
