- In this video we make a return visit (with a third to follow) to a remote Australian farmhouse, part of a former dairy farm that was abandoned in the late 1960s. Some nice finds come to light in difficult long grass conditions - always an enjoyable adventure exploring these old sites. Thanks for watching, comment and subscribing! Warren and Colleen.

Well done. That dome doohicky was the reflector of an early torch. I have found many silver pocket watch casings. They always have hallmarks. 1860's was a popular era for them. If there are no keyholes in the backing plate then it was a later knob wind. PSST bring your whipper snipper. They can solve your tall grass problem.
Nice! Thanks for the upload Warren 👍
What a nice day. Thanks for having us along. Hope you can get back there sometime.
Great video and beautiful area Warren! Yes... my Go Pro has overheated a few times as well... so I know what your talking about and its definitely frustrating..lol! 😎👍
Great video there also you explain the history which makes for a better video finds were great too
This is my first live video this year I learn so much from your shows and about such a wonderful and rugged Country
Any way send the frist by mistake. I just wanted to say thank you and your lovely wife keep up the great work. 👍
I enjoyed the hunt Warren good Luck to you.
Good to see you as I've got to go and GoPro as well and it overheated as well love the video from nsw
Hello Warren, thank you for taking me along to this beautiful spot out in the country....I really enjoyed the scenery and the hunt, with lots of interesting finds. As for the rant, I can tell you this, every single channel that I like has had a similar rant! Makes me wonder why some other company hasn't (apparently) come out with a better camera that won't over heat? Anyway, the resolution in this video was great, for sure. Also for sure, I will be on board for the return sortie with the bigger coil.
Forever you have a nice video congrat dear friend enjoy the joob.
Hey, I've moved about 15 miles away, or more from where I lived. I'm in almost Town, but near enough to vacant country, some WWII area to dig, and I've located the Post 1909 'Ewa bottling Works. It's on a sort of homemade church facility, but on a disused side. Definitely got to get permission. It was at least somewhat dug before, but I have done well in dug out sites. Have a little more info on an empty lot in Town, next to which I found back to the 1860s, school & iron Works.
That one piece of the pocket watch did appear to me to have both numbers and letters on it. Looked like a "P" and some numbers. Anyway, great hunt; looking forward till next week.
What a great site and how exciting that you got first dibs on detecting there! Can't wait for the upcoming sorties. That bell-shaped "doohickey" on first glance reminded me of a bicycle bell. Second possible, a very old-style alarm clock bell, and third, an old-style electric doorbell. I think you're going to get some rippers from this site... looking forward to watching it!
And, Warren, I completely concur with your "rant." I didn't have the funds for a GoPro, so, after researching a bunch of options and reading a ton of reviews, I bought a knockoff (Akaso EK7000 paid $80. US Amazon), which in and of itself is just as good with better video quality, is waterproof and has wifi, also comes with a lot of accessories. But, it also has a heat issue. Using any external charging source while recording will cause it to heat up big-time, as will placing it on the dashboard in the sun and/or summertime. But, at least the cost was 1/4 of the GP! Cheers from Oregon
12.35 there are numbers on that item Warren. Keep up the good work.
Because of the 4K definition I reckon I could make out 935 & at least one lion hallmark on the pocket watch casing. If that's right it was a higher quality piece
You are continuously mispronouncing “fam”, the correct pronunciation is “farm”.
