Love the idea. Love the work and would love to see it finished and painted. Only drawback was the music.
I have always felt that the ford shoe box and the 50-51 merc are the two classic car platforms. One for cruising one for speed. Nice work and mods.

That's one hell of a great job
I did a 49 Merc for a friend boxed the chassis, disc brake front&rear 3.55 BW rear end, 4AOD auto and a mild 351 Windsor when it was all finished I that was a cool looking car, but that coup is the coolest. I watched the 3 episodes and I loved them, there was no playing with dog talking about the family and kids, no histrionics, no yap yap yap, blah blah blah, just straight to the point showed what you were going to do and got on with it. Very educational I hope you do another one real soon.

Good shit man hopefully my garage will be freed up enough I can body swap something one day but car turned out pretty cool
So far, it's lookin' good. Hope this baby turns out as the 1950 Ford was my first car. Wish I still had that baby.......they had such a great style for their day. Dunno about the chain, tho......gotta be a better way.....but I'll just watch and keep my beak in my own soup.
I hope the owner, will rechrome the front Grill,and do a nice body job, to make it all worth the work,and do a special, Interior job, also, Great job Guys

I got a 98 Lincoln Mark 8 That I'm gonna put a 61 Pontiac Tempest on. 5.0 with 3 Motorcraft 2150 carbs and an AOD.
Im all for body swaps. Especially if it like here where they have a car that might be wrecked, and you swap a body of something cool over the top.

This is going to be an epic sleeper
The body sat down nice on that extended pan, and it looks bad ass. But the dash is always a problem on these body swaps. I know the customer wanted to use the Mustang dash and the computer gets pissed if the cluster isn’t plugged in, but the dash from the bottom car never fits worth a crap at the windshield. It also looks like ya have to open the door to roll down the windows.
I want to put my 55 F100 on a 5.0 Explorer, but it’s a lot of the same issues.

I agree to an extent. Some are cool ratted out in this case. And sometimes funds play a big part also in this case. This was a budget build
