When Gobert was off Joker and roaming he shut down the entire rest of the Nuggets. Nuggets would rather let Joker go 1:1 vs Gobert with the option of facilitating, then 1:1 with Towns and everyone else neutralized.

What game was Draymond watching? Wolves were down 10 with 1-minute left in the 2nd quarter and gave up a 5-0 run to go into halftime down 15. So, no....the Wolves didn't have any momentum going into the half.
Then the Wolves gave up another 5-0 in the first 2-mintues of the 3rd quarter to go down 20 (they were never down 20 in the first half). Draymond is just talking out of his crack.

Antman is also a great defender but he could not guard Jokic one on one downlow. But could guard him elsewhere. Gobert is the defensive coach for the Wolves. The Wolves played average defense before Gobert joined the team. Gobert demanded Mike Conley to be traded to the Wolves, to complete Goberts defensive scheme. Ant isn't allowed to say any of this, because he's chosen to be the face of the league. Also, KAT is instructed to say that Ant and him learned to play defense self taught.

You mean...Rudy was carried into the finals on the backs of his teammates, right? Seriously, though. Rudy is incredible at drop defense and help defense, but he's a two dimensional defender. Thus, he can be schemed against. The Twolves other defenders are an impressive unit and can help hide Rudy's flaws and boost his strengths. Even though DOY is an individual award, the team defense plays a big role. Remember the last two winners - Jaren Jackson Jr and Marcus Smart? Those where also "team" awards.
