At its core, the story of The Hunger Games is about the power of one person to change the world.
Set in the future remnants of the USA in a new nation called Panem, one male and one female "tribute" between the ages of 11 and 18 from each of Panem's twelve districts is forced to participate in an annual competition called the Hunger Games, which is broadcast live throughout the country for the entertainment of the Capitol's wealthy residents.
Now, bestselling author Suzanne Collins and the world of The Hunger Games return in her latest addition to the series: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Gale... she's been through the games twice, her friend has been brain washed, the fire for the uprising is on her shoulders... I think she's going through enough. If you truly love her, you'd be there for her as a friend, not heaping more guilt on her
That's one issue with using actors that are so much older, it's hard to remember they're just teenagers
@@latch9781I mean by this time, Gale is like 19-20... with the kind of stuff he's already dealt with, I think he's old enough to be more mature about it.
@@rei_cirith exactly what i was thinking. Gale is definitely mature enough to leave her be & not guilt her because she doesn't return his feelings. Especially since he waited until another man moved in to do anything about it.
I mean, in Gale's defense, Katniss does send a lot of mixed signals
@@latch9781I don’t see what this has to do with age or being a teenager
Ok, but prims character development in all of these movies is the best written character development I’ve ever seen
She goes from a scared little girl to a brave young woman. She died trying to help people :*( i loved her character so much
@@chaoticallygaming same she had such a well written character
in the books she seems kinda bland, the decision to give her the part of the other girl who talks to peeta was a good one
Prim is hard to care for. She just turns into a human brick that’s good at medicine.
It makes my heart hurt that these kids are sixteen, and some of he tributes even younger, some barely older than Katniss and Peeta and they go through all of this
Real.. 💔
Damn don’t listen to the other replies. They act like people can’t separate fiction from reality 😒 you’re allowed to have feelings about these characters
The signs of Coin being a bad leader were clear here. She told Katniss she was glad she was finally ok, meaning she didn't bother to make time to check in on her "prolific symbol for the rebellion". Then she automatically named Peeta as the reason for Katniss deciding to join the cause, meaning she tried to implant the idea that Katniss was doing this for reasons that served her own personal benefit instead of the rebellion as a whole.
My god the acting
Absolute perfection.
This was a bad change to send Prim in when the book made it clear they couldn't have anyone near him that had any connections to Katniss yet the movie sends her sister lol a person who immediately would connect him to Katniss emotionally. I love this scene but it also doesn't make sense since he can't be reminded of her yet
It’s like Plutarch said, they just wanted to test his response
Well it was the last movie so they probably didn't want to waste anymore money hiring someone to be Delly-especially since that character only appears once in the whole movie
@@joewhitehead3I get why, but I still prefer it being Delly in the book. It makes more sense for it to be someone not connected to Katniss in anyway, and to see one of Peeta’s closest friends that’s nothing to do with Katniss or the games
More intense than I imagined it in the book
Man I wish they only did one movie for this, cause dang it would have been nonstop awesome. The stops and starts of the movies are rough. The one very underwritten and underdeveloped part of the books was Peeta and his family/his love for them/their relationships. But it's Katniss' tale.
PRIM DESERVED BETTER SUZANNE COLLINS I WILL NEVER FORGIVE U
Anybody else think she needs to stop kissing Gale😂
I love Katniss Sister Prim
I also feel bad for Peeta
Gale is so annoying he is using katniss’ valunable moments
The spit!!! I cant handle it!!!
sora was sit here walk to you
he's know your here now
It really interesting to compare this scene with Snow at the end of Songbirds.
Oh, you mean how he got everything he wanted plus unlimited power and then used that power to continue the systematic killing and torturing of innocent children?
Or how this demonstrates his fundamental lack of empathy and bone-deep selfishness because he knows how destructive and poisonous the games are but he refuses to mitigate their effects or stop them?
Good points well made. I'd counter that he didn't get everything he wanted as Highbottom says. He doesn't get Lucy Gray and that will be with him forever.
You are ignoring the Gaul factor here. She has been Darth Sidious'ing this guy for a while. He comes to her because she gives him the answers he wants to hear. Highbottom's antagonistic relationship means Snow would never listen to better advice. Throughout the film she is asking 'What are the games for' and the answer is that the games remind everyone that humans are animals. At their basest level it is predator vs prey. Snow, having been preyed on throughout the war desires control and is indoctrinated into her view of the world. He decides that to not be prey he needs to be the ultimate predator. Which aligns with Gaul's ideas of ultimate destruction. That lesson is clearly one he thinks others should continue to get.
Here we can see Peeta has been brainwashed in a similar way to attack Katniss. This is what the Capitol does. It's poisonous and it got Snow a long time ago.
He makes those choices. He's not absolved of that. Those choices don't come out of nowhere. Understanding is not apologising.@@mc-rn8ro
she's not of monster
she's not a mutts
I don't have to kill her
you don't have to kill her
she's sit in here walk to you
she's know I'm here now
Even if Katniss was a mutt, what does Peeta think Prim's supposed to do about it?
Considering how Peeta was hijacked and was basically the actual mutt here, I don’t think he was really thinking
I mean he said it, he wanted prim to kill Katniss
you got to trust her
Peeta's attack sora
Peeta's attack hyde of fight
So in 3 movie part one they made peeta lose and change his memories then he gets them back slowly slowly and they end up back together, sorry I'm new to the movies
Yes
🤭🤗
she's not a monster
she's not a mutts
mr hyde is the monster
how you doing peeta
Bro get off the drugs, you will feel better.
the book was way better
They always are
So you didn’t enjoy the movie?
It's an adaptation, it can't be exactly the same. A lot of people, like me, didn't read the book. Nevertheless I love the four movies. After Star Wars and Lord of the rings, it's my favourite franchise in movies.
Of course it is better. But that does not make its adaptation bad.

Ugh, writers, you’re SO right. We DO need a prequel story that frees the person responsible for all this from any kind of blame. I’m SO GLAD TBOSAS clarified that Katniss and Peeta’s abuser is just as much of a victim because he had this one crush this one time!! Thank you SO MUCH FOR THAT!!
Did you read the book? He’s a straight up villain
@@maren03they are being sarcastic I think
I don't think that was the objective..
Happens all the time that abusers used to be victims, but it doesn't free anyone of blame.
As adults, we're all responsible for not taking out our pain on innocent people.
And of course, for Snow it was about WAY more than Lucy.
