My mum passed away 2 weeks ago from the complications of the chronic illness which I also have (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome) which has always given me a special link to BT and Aaron due to the similarities of MS and EDS. People always have something to complain about when a band releases new songs. If this song/album was similar to their previous albums some of you would be like "This sounds like Dead Silence" or "This sounds like Billy Talent III, come up with something new guys". Every album should have a different sound/element but still sound like the band, and this song, along with "Afraid Of Heights" have that. Open your minds AND your ears. "Louder Than The DJ" is such a great song to bring back that classic rock vibe. This song might not have personal meaning to you but it does for the people who are really sick of this generic pop music shit and miss rock & roll. Just imagine hearing this song live. I can't wait for the new album!
I agree. they went from the best punk rock band (imo) in their first 3 albums then to a Solid rock band in their last 3 albums. I just want to hear more!
So to combat generic pop music Billy Talent have written a generic Rock song? Yeah... I don't dislike this song because I'm afraid of change, I dislike it because it's a boring song. That said, Afraid of Heights is ok and I remain hopeful for the rest of the album.

Old school punk rock. Absolutely beautiful. Seem to be going back to there roots in this one. Hopefully this new album will blend some classic BT styles and modern rock into one, so so excited!

In my opinion, this song serves as a means to get you pumped up and hyped. Just imagine singing this song with a large crowd and moshing to it in a stadium. Fuck its gonna be so awesome. I can't wait for the tour...Just get it on already !!!
When I first heard this I didn't like it but last night I saw the band perform this live. It is soooo good live! It has so much energy and stood out the most when compaired to other songs on the album. You have to see it live if you get the chance!

Grew up listening to these guys. This isn't bad, it's quite refreshing. One of their more upbeat songs. Already liking a few off the new album off the bat.
The only problem I have with this song is now I know it and its less of a surprise when the full album comes out. So far two fucking great singles

This is catchy, a good comeback song that will attract existing and new fans to their music. I am going to listen to it, their old songs haven't gone anywhere and so we can enjoy their "old" and "new" sound :D I think this song shows that they can adapt to a new generation e.g. the reference to selfie sticks

Afraid of Heights was, ok.
Their worst album but, whatever they had 3 10/10’s and one 9/10 up to that point.
A 6 maybe even 7/10 really is a good album. It’s just not what it used to be.

The lyrics are so true and get 11/10 from me. (Not saying they are "poetic" or anything but they're spot on!)
