Agreed . The whole Magma album felt a bit like a let down . Then i went to see them live 4 times on that tour and , man ! The difference was startling. GOJIRA is ,first and foremost, a live experience . Trance metal !

Yep, I was there. Iâve seen over 100 shows at Red Rocks and this was in the top 4. The moon came over the stage when Opeth came out. Fuckin mind blowing night. I thought for the first time in history the Rocks were going to crumble when Gojira did the breakdown in Flying Whales. Holy fuck!
From the visuals to the audio, this is the most epic looking and sounding live performance by them by far.

This song just contains everything Gojira is so damn good at, they are so freaking tight performers, flawless, the consistent riffs, the vocals and Marios haunting and relentless drumming,think its safe to say that we have a worthy successor to the atomic clock, this song is subtle but still reflects everything they do better than most other bands can do live.....Im proud to say that Gojira is in my top 2 bands of all timeđ€đ€đ€đ

So pleased you got around to this reaction. Everything about this is incredible. The extended version of Pray, Joe's vocals are incredible, sound quality is ridiculous. And to top it off the visuals, creates this incredible atmospheric feeling. One of the best live performances I've ever seen

Man! They kicked ass on this song.
I am so glad that Gojira are getting the shine that they truly deserve. They needed to come out of obscurity. One reason is because they are on another level talent. Second reason, they speak on things that are so relevant. And three, the world needs more amazing music.
I hope that their star shines even more bright as they chug along.

They're one of only 4 bands that can take my mind to a whole other dimension. Where I can completely lose myself in the music, like my body is numb and almost levitating. Totally out of body experience. The others are Pink Floyd, Tool and Radiohead.

I was at this show (Red Rocks). I was only 10 rows back; I felt like my eyebrows were on fire from the pyrotechnics. Opeth was the headliner and The Devin Townsend Project was the opener. Pretty incredible lineup - let alone the fact it was at Red Rocks. The planets were aligned that night. I feel pretty grateful I was there to experience it.

Superbe réaction as always guys. Fun expressions on D's face. As you said it was transcendantal. A mix of some space indy meditation vibes with the vocals with some crazy explosiveness too. This song offers different feelings and vibes all perfectly blended together. Great performance. The whole concert at red rocks is very cool. Saw it three times and always awesome
You guys mentioned the visual presentation. Me and a friend were half way up in the center , could feel the flames and there was also a blood moon visible beyond the stage. It was nuts!

You are so right about everything by Gojira being phenomenal
. The only bands that blow me away as much as Gojira are Jinjer and Devin Townsend/Strapping Young Lad. Gojira just released a new song "Another World" which yous need to check out as well as "Of Blood And Salt" (ft. Devin Townsend and the guitarist from Meshugga). As for Jinjer it has to be "Home Back". For Devin Townsend I recommend "Kingdom live at EMGTV", "Love" (not the official video because that has a bit cut out of it) or "Detox". Keep up the good work and I guarantee that you will be blown away with any of the songs I recommended. Keep up the brilliant reactions!

Gojira has the best live performance these days..their sound is so good and tight..there's not many bands who sound good live as they do.. some of their live performance sound much better than their studio records..

Was there that night. Fukn mind blowing. Also bought a collector box with BluRay, DVD,CDâs, and book of Garden of the Titans. The mix is the best live mix in the history of live recordings, in my opinion. Been seeing concerts there since the 80âs. This was in the top 4.

Aw yis been requesting Pray since The Heaviest Matter back in the car days :p. You know, they experimented on the studio version with this one. It sounds different, but both versions are awesome.
I was at this show. It was insane. Prior to this show I had heard of Gojira, but had never really listened to them. I was hooked after this. Side note: It was freezing at this show. Especially after Opeth went on stage.
