At first I thought Noah was struggling to pull Optimus Prime away, but it all makes sense now.
I think the sucking from unicron became more powerful and noah was not able to pull optimus furthur

To be fair he was tying to pull Optimus who is a giant robot and way heavier than he is. Plus the sucking had a part in preventing him from pulling Optimus.
