Such as people seeing faces in items. A creator could have two best friends have a close friendship and even give them another half they marry and die of old age with. Initially, they really should have had a truce, as both were tired of the endless war. Megatron offered to search for Cybertron together, but Prime refused, as it became more important for him to protect the Earth. Megatron flew away saying that he hoped that the next time they met, they would greet each other like brothers. Bay found this ending boring.

@@ReivanhistFrom what I hear, Bay did originally plan for Optimus to have the truce with megaton. The ending was changed however since Amazon leaked the ending of the movie. You see, the TF Movies tend to have tie in comics and retelling as of the film right before the film comes out. Amazon however showed an image of the ending panal for dotm as a preview to buy the comic, this was before the movie came out.
Since many people likely saw the preview shot of Optimus trucung with megs, bay changed the ending for both the movie and tie-in comic of dotm. Hence why we get Optimus axing down Megatron instead, which honesty I don’t really mind either, it’s not like megaton deserved to be let go.
I don’t it’s so out of character for optimus

I feel like the other video of this had the clip where Megatron actually calls out for Prime using his first name in Transformers Armada. Any reason that's not here anymore...?
