Green-Eyed Jealousy ON PIANO!! This is Parsee's Theme from Touhou 11 SA. Lots of requests for this one! It's one of the most melancholic-sounding pieces from the series, so I initially decided to go for a "sad" vibe. However, with these type of songs I always end up thinking "wait...this is a boss theme after all" and just kind of crank up the difficulty and intensity of the arrangement. It seems like I can't really play a sad song after all LOL
That being said though, this is still one of the easiest Touhou songs to play on piano if you just stick to the main melody and ignore the improv. I highly suggest it if you're a begginer!

The 3/4 measure, the character's personality, they flow so well together.
SA has some bangers in its soundtrack. This is a special one because the music is so good and evocative that it feels like Parsee should be a larger player in the story, like a Stage 5 boss at least.

imo touhou 11's tracks sound somehow different from other games in the series, or peraps its just me. Always been my favorite, although honestly got no idea how to it into words to explain why. Great playing!
One of my favorite stage 2 boss themes. I actually put this over Beloved Tomboyish Girl imo. SA just has an absolutely solid ost.
Yep! The only Stage 2 boss theme I would personally put above Parsee is "Dark Side of Fate", Hina's theme. If it weren't for that, Green Eyed Jealousy would basically be unbeatable lol
@ViddyWellSA11 That one is really good! But I absolutely LOVE the drop that generally starts during Parsee's Tongue-Cut Sparrow "Hate for the Humble and Rich"
The first time I heard it in-game, I was so focused on the music that I didn't realize how that spell card worked, and ended up screwing myself over by shooting the fake Parsee a ton before I realized what was happening. SA is so fun lol.
ah parsee... i remember my first time trying out sa, i knew i was in for a rough time but getting my ass handed to me on stage 2 was certainly an experience... haven't touched it much since (still trying to nail that mof normal 1cc!), but sa feels like one of those games that i'll enjoy when i finally get the hang of it. might be next on the list, then.
speaking of mountain of faith, i'd love to hear more themes from it. suwa foughten field and mysterious mountain for sure, those are practically seared into my brain along with the danmaku patterns with how many times i've practiced those fights.
I also just realized that you uploaded this video right after The Concealed Four Seasons cover video, and Okina and Parsee are two of my favorite Touhou characters alongside Junko
Parsee's theme is just truly beautiful, yet sad.

My first interaction with Touhou was UN Owen was Her, but what makes me a Touhou fan is Unlucky Morpheus' "Jealousy of Silence" which is an arrangement of Green Eyed Jealousy. Imo Parsee is one of the best Touhou girls

I've only gotten into touhou a few months back, so I haven't been able to finish any of the games (I'm practicing on EoSD to IN), but I've always loved the Touhou soundtracks. Your piano covers are always so good to listen to, and it's making me want to learn piano. Please make more of these because these are just amazing!
Also, it would be awesome if you could do Alice Margatroid's theme in the future (Doll Judgment) as it's one of my favorite songs in the series (and because Alice is just cool in general).
