The n52 it’s a very good engine. It has some weak points that you need to be careful about but it’s manageable. Compared to the s54 this one has double vanos and valvetronic so I think it doesn’t need individual throttle bodies because it can adjust the intake air using the valve opening. The hydraulic lifters are service free, they limit the max rpm but it still revs to 7000which is good. Disa valves also do a good job. The increase in torque at low rpm is significant. This makes it one of the best naturally aspirated engine. For example there is 2jz inline 6 from Toyota but it has less power, less fuel efficiency and worse emissions. For tune ups it’s better but as it is it’s inferior imo, except probably more reliable. The cylinder coating on the n52 is alusil (silicon compound) which basically it’s quarz crystals pressed into the aluminum alloy and makes the walls very resistant to wear. Even if they wear out at some point it’s possible to refinish the walls and apply a new coat
These coupes are beautiful cars but I like to take the top off my Z4 E85 when the sun shines. Perhaps I could have one of these for cold winter days...

Every scratch and dent on my 2016 car is from some tosser in a car park, who cannot drive and damages it before driving away :( Nice video by the way :) I will be selling my new car and buying an old Z4 soon and I cannot wait to go back to when cars were real drivers cars :)
Talking about your interior as the best, my e85 was the same interior as yours but my e86 is blue and black combination with blue/black M sports seat, very few of that spec in the UK. Nice car.
Nice videos, youre right about these catching peoples attention, here in athens, mine is the only one, e86 anyway. I first saw these when i was in hs and they always stuck with me, idk how i got so lucky with mine, even found a 700 watt jl amp hidden behind the felt in the trunk lol but i did drive outta state to fall in love and take it back immediately. I got my valve cover replaced, did ignition coils and spark plugs although i need to replace the roof lining. take care* 07 alpine white si
If you put some sound deadening material in the doors, then they will sound really solid (without it I think they sound a little bit thin). I did because of an audio and speaker upgrade. It’s is a nice car, I really like the rims you have but I also know why I won’t go for black ones myself (damage is way more visible).
What's up with the mismatched interior though? Up on the dash you have the silver trim but lower down it's got the wood effect. And you have the great red leather seats. But it should also have red inserts on the inside of the doors. Also, I'm not 100% sure but shouldn't the roof lining be black and not grey? Looking at all of this, it would seem as if it originally came with the wood interior and either grey or black seats.

I love the n52 in my car. Although I am planning to swap in a n54 in my coupe here in a year. Or two 😧 Stay tuned!

Post facelift have more sound deadening in the doors from factory I believe.

I see you got those wheels on! Weren't they on the E85? Pre facelift, I speculated they wouldn't fit on post facelift but I see I'm wrong!
Almost! E85 has 16in csl style. These are 18in Sparcos pro corsas. Csl style

Wood trim & black seats was stock. Now has a set of FIA Sparcos buckets
