@Abby The Hound Dog Jiri is LHW with movement of WW/MW. Permanent movement, permanent action in standup, permanent action while being grounded even for several minutes. He can last like that till 5 round and still be able to deny knockout shots and reverse full mount of 230 lbs heavy grapler. Prochazka lands 5.8 significant stikes per minute with 13 mins of average fight time. To put it in perspective, LW Mcgregor lands 5.3 strikes per minute with 8 mins of average fight time. I am sure all of this is result of not working on his cardio at all.

3:58 Imagine telling someone who just submitted the person who submitted you without even trying to fight the hands that they're pitiful. Glover tried to submit Jiri multiple times, but by being the true warrior he is, he refused to quit unlike Jan who tapped out in like half a second.

Nothing against Jan but his performance against Glover was absolutely pathetic. He looked like he was moving underwater on the feet, and completely out of his depth on the ground. He even tried a kimura trap against Glover that backfired horribly, and Jan is apparently a BJJ black belt? As Islam said we may have to check that...

He doesn't deserve it though. Usman and Izzy do because they defended the belt a bunch of times. Glover didn't.
Jiri had no say in the matter. What they were planning to do was have Adesanya beat Alex and then go back up to 205 to become double champ, by having Jiri fight Glover again he probably wins easier this time so the belt stays on him, keeping a favorable matchup for Adesanya to move up and fight, but Alex threw a wrench in those plans

I was in the stadium that day, firstly what an outstanding experience. Gotta say literally everyone went out of there in awe of Glover, even the Czech guys I was speaking to couldn't believe how good he was at 42. Unbelievable fighter, legend of the game.

Believe it or not, the caption at 3:59 should be "You're beautiful." Jiri explained he felt Jan had such an amped up energy in that moment that Jiri chose to mess with him by going another way with it, and being really nice and chill instead.

The 205ers are way too big. Plus Jiri’s grappling defense is good. If khamzat doesn’t stop him early Jiri would murder him with the far superior gas tank and size.

Jiri has the ability (and showed it several times during the fight)to randomly recover and throw back with a nuke even when he's out on his feet.
A guillotine wasn't the smartest choice, but keeping it standing definitely would have ended with Glover getting dropped.

It wasnt the first time Jiri put his head in the guillotine choke when he was out on his feet. He made it with Reyes too, Dominick even mentioned it later. He said its confusing and it leads to bad judgement. Glover should have know that, Jiri is a tricky fighter, he’s notorious mind gamer. The sht he used to do in Rizin was insane. Ppl dont know much about him and that is his big advantage. Glover didnt do his homework here and it cost him a belt.
Prochazka wanted to rematch this fight.
