It doesn’t matter. You’re seeing it out of context. Anyone watching the entire fight knows he’s not tapping out. Nobody taps out from exhaustion from beating their opponent senseless. The refs see what’s going on better than anyone and they’re the ones who would have to stop the fight

I used to compliment my opponents during fights or grappling match too, it really fucks with some of them. I eneded an undefeated streak and ran into the guy ant an after party and he told that the compliments got in his head.
