This movie is OG status it’s seriously so underrated yet impacted so many young extreme sports athletes alike!
You know it. This and Brink were some of my favorites. Started my obsession with aggressive in line skating, which lead to a decade of sponsorships, trophies, broken bones and surgeries. What a great decade.
Man I remember watching this with my sisters back then. Seth Green and Jack Black were so young back then.
No shit, Seth green and Jack black were young 30 years ago. Genius comment
@@matthewdubay1180Cool.
I thought I was the only one who loved this movie as a kid!
Holy childhood 😢
Facts
Saw this movie on a theater in Brazil in 1993. Used to ride my rollerblades daily and play inline hockey on weekends. Great times…
The score during this race really sets the mood. Great flick.
Helps when the score is done by the drummer from The Police 😂
@@SamuraiCop I had NO idea. Makes so much sense.
@@sourarmoredhero7765 yeah Stewart Copeland, did some amazing score work.
Be good homie!
This, Brink, and the Sega Genesis game Skitchin' were got me and my brother into rollerblading in the 90s.
Brink was my go to bro wow you just blew my mind with that name drop!
Lmfao skitchin was the shit..
The Ravine Street hill in Cincinnati, which I drove down today and saw this video randomly by chance, lol. Alot of Ravine still looks the same to this very day.
I did not know that Cincinnati is so hilly ?! Looks more like San Francisco but in the winter time 😄 Never seen this movie. Great stunt!
Overall that scene looks great and cameraman did an awesome job!
@makan1568 We have the Seven Hills here but some areas are alot more inclined than others (Like Western Hills, Walnut Hills and Clifton Heights, the area this scene was shot in.)
Holy shit I thought this movie was a fever dream I had back when I was seven. This changes everything!
Thank you. I loved this movie as a kid but I could never remember the name
This was classic! Why I loved roller blading so much as a kid.
That's amazing, this makes me want to get into skating now lol
Devils Backbone by the LA skate team, some really killer stunts
This movie & mighty ducks 2 made me get roller blades.
Watching this clip…just cheezin. Cheezin hard
Somehow CZcams figured out that I saw this movie like 5 times when I was 13.
The algorithm knows all.
Just like Pepperidge farm remembers.....
I would love to see a 2024 inline skating movie.
That would be so dope!
Such a shame skating isn't as popular as it used to be 😢
Hard pass because they would ruin it.
I remember watching this movie 🎥 when I was younger. Miss this movie 🎥
One of the better a.i. videos ive seen.
I miss being a kid in the 90s. We had such good entertainment
Loved this movie back in the day. Been trying to figure out where/how to watch it with my kids, but haven’t been able to.
You're welcome. One of my all time favorite movies just because it brings back memories of my childhood
I heard it’s on Disney plus brotha
@@anthonyhart9878 I don't know why the link I put got deleted.
It's on a website called moviesjoy
I once saw someone trip down The Devil's Backbone.
Insane😂
Very underappreciated movie.
I grew up in a river town on a bluff with hills like that. Nothing like passing cars on some K2 skates in '97
Those roads were only that smooth for filming. They have never looked like that since.
facts🤣
Absolutely awesome, and I bet no one was harmed in the production.🤣😅😂
that stuntman at the 55 ec mark took a hit
He Got blasted 😂😭
Mighty Ducks D3
Thank you for posting this! It'd getting harder and harder to find.
Glad to help!
When I was a kid one Sunday this movie got played over and over again on a local channel, and I remember watching it atleast 3 times and making homemade pizza, never forget that day as that also the first time I had cheddar on pizza.
I bought a dvd of this years ago, whenever I put it on really want some pizza. :)
@@astrofive620 SAME! I used to see this movie on TV so much when I was a kid and loved it then you kinda notice one day when much older, "Hey what was that one movie where they had that crazy race at the end?" And took me a good while to find it, still haven't found a DVD or even VHS of it.
The continuity errors in the scene make me giggle. Cars and racing suddenly missing, racer changing positions, racers changing shirts/helmets.
And it is still an amazing scene
Ikr what a waste of the millions and millions they had to finance the movie 🤦♂️
I’ll take this over transformers any day
This movie inspired me to stupidly go down a lot of giant hills in my rollerblades.
0:05 Ravine Street
0:12 Dorchester Ave and Bigelow Street
Crazy how this popped up. I was thinking about what was the title to this movie the other day lol.
So intense, so EXTREME
I remember watching this on Disney for friday movies with my sister
I was a skater back then, we used to rag on the bladers 😂
We called them fruit booters in the early to mid 90s.
Bruh I couldn’t tell any of my skater homies this was one of my favorite movies🤣😅
I had skaters tell me they were afraid of blades because you couldn't ditch
Wow that was better than the mighty ducks
Radical dude
Airgear before airgear
Cincinnati do have some bigass hills
Get outta town tha natti got terrains like this? Thought i saw a down grade sign.
Such a great movie! Can’t find it anywhere though
Gonna tell me grandkids this was Fast and Furious…
Brink brought me here.
Gen x, last of the generational badasses
Not all was filmed in Cincinnati car jump was on dayton Bellevue border in Kentucky
i rented this from blockbuster!
Blockbuster 😭😢
This was like the grimier version of brink lol
Haven't seen Brink!
Legit 🔥
The devil's backbone
That win was for Pepe the shark…
I’m in Ohio and I think it was filmed in Cincinnati

1:14. Me no see cars.
Last 2 dude. Omg im going to die!
1:25that dude thinking “what the hell am i doing?”
Ode to be young dumb and fearless again. Great movie also
More like CinciGnarly
Wasnt this movie called Brink or did i just get all mandala'd?
two different movies!
man, those roller blades never looked cool
Popeye, now there was a great man. Do you know why?
He never joined the Hairclub For Men?
Wrong. Because his motto was: I am what I am. Do you think Popeye ever worried about what he wore just so he could get Olive Oil in the sack? I should say not, Dude. And do you know why?
He was gay?
Because he is what he is.
Imagine living in Cincinnati. I’d be trying to rollerblade headfirst into people’s cars too who also had to live there. 🤮
Used to love this movie but roller blading got considered gay
Where tf is Ohio
Was that a quote from the movie? Without the "tf" of course. I remember him being from Cali
Bruh, little kid me loved this race so fucking much!
Rando fact, the cute girl from this movie married Verne Troyer
