It's seriously not hard at all. The only people who complain about this kind of stuff are the people who just want it to be okay to say the bigoted stuff without consequence because other people used to not have a voice in how they were depicted or made fun of.
Yes very true, my only thing is it's way too obvious, like they're constantly explaining the joke and reinforcing it, like the gags are great but then you have one of the others saying the colour which ruins it a little, if it was more subtle it would be hilarious
This is how you do comedy, period. True comedy attacks and satirizes everybody and everything, because everyone in their own way deserves to be made fun of.
When it’s just one side calling the other side out, that’s not comedy. That’s a political ad.

Racism is an awful disease that still thrives in some people, and by reducing it to a "score system" (especially one that only keeps track of specific "teams" lol) the ridiculousness of the concept at large is accentuated.

The second line is key. There's nothing worse than lazy, out-of-touch comedians (and commentators) pretending it's society that's the issue and not their inability to meet demand for well-written jokes that don't just repeat stereotypes or worse. Despite easy criticisms of the show as a whole, SNL has been on point with this for a while now.
Ppl joke about race all the time, it's like that Chris Rock joke, it's all about CONTEXT.

The black actress in yellow (Ego) apparently wrote it. I could tell it it was a black writer by her remarks and the weatherman’s parts (it was just too nuanced). I’m just surprised she acted so well and played a role behind the scenes.

Which is why SNL has been so ballsy within the last decade in pushing the limit in every subject possible. Their material nowadays is Neo-MADtv, and they get Love and Hate just as much as MADtv did back in the day, even though people are just discovering that show now on YT, through 3rd party uploads.
How, by taking something that is almost exclusively done by black people and pretending that white people also do it?
