    I've been watching you on and of for years Stefan. So long I don't even remember how your channel fell into my lap. The amount of time you take to film, edit, and generally showcase these knives make me feel like I'm watching a small documentary. Every video is a small treasure, thank you for sharing your time and these knives with us. I hope to keep watching for many more years to come.

    Thanks Stefan:-). I guess if one isn’t short of a quid and likes to add to their collection...great. But even Zen and Minimalist approach taken into consideration (which I like) practicality ...mmm...and the price.
    I’ve got a Leatherman Skeletool KB, and it’s a fabulous little knife to carry in ones pocket and not even know it’s there, it’s so compact. Great blade , well made... and affordable! But chacun sa vie:-). Great you out there Stefan! And don’t go sneezing on any of those knives!!! Cheers

    Another great video on a super cool wee knife! Reminds me of a super high quality version of the Kershaw Pub, one of my favourite, if under used knives. Of course, being a frame lock this 40mm behemoth would, by default, be considered an offensive weapon!

  • @davids9549
    @davids9549 Před 4 lety +1

    Be careful - if these get too well known, it'll be all we're allowed to carry! Apart from in the UK of course, where that vicious framelock could send you to prison.
    Cool video as always Stefan - you always know the best way to present any knife.

    Stefan, a brilliantly presented review. I have several Ensizen knives. Simply superb timeless pieces. Thank your channel and reviews. There is a real passion to be found coupled with excellent taste. I noticed you have a spinning top there which is another interest of mine. May I ask the maker of the spin base please. Very best wishes for 2021, Paul.

      @@StefanSchmalhaus Thank you for the info. Yes Vorso make great tops. You can't go wrong with one and the quality of the machining is excellent. I have a couple of them and their OG spinners which were quite pioneering along side Rotablade. Actually my question was about where you obtained the wooden spinning base? If you are looking for a superb non CNC handmade top it is worth speaking to Ash the artisan behind Six1eight in the UK. www.etsy.com/uk/shop/Six1eight
      Best wishes, Paul.

      @@StefanSchmalhaus No problem, I can't keep track of my fountain pens :) I have a really fancy one from United Machining in the States but it a little small. I have had best results with 100mm mirrors or lenses set into a base I have re purposed. Your base looks like another simple, timeless and highly rewarding surface for a few hours spinning tops, admiring knives and messing with pens. Accompanied by a nice strong English Cider and a selection of cheeses. If they ever ban cheese and fine wine (or tea for that matter) life may not be worth living.
