- I was tempted to name this Pistol Stereotypes 2. I'm not sure if the Halloween event is still ongoing but if it is, I highly recommend you try it. But only on customs, its a real coin toss on every other map. I will be uploading the Armored Vest Stereotypes on Sunday so if you have any ideas for that be sure to leave them in the comments below. god i hate how rapidly vengeful zryachi pulls out his gun a bit too high on that front.

I swear I am either always the last person in lobby or that motherfucker smells me from behind the screen and he doesnt like it
@@Crimsontalor bro this happened to me and got me so tilted... i was trying to get the evil boss to spawn so i could try to kill him and ngl i died alot just trying to get him to spawn, but then whenever he did spawn he would chase me with his knife for about 10 seconds before just pulling out his rsass and blasting me...after that happened twice i decided to just farm the cultists and make some profit... really lame how that worked imo
He's a fun, wholesome guy.
You can use all revolvers, the double barrel shotgun, and the ppsh. So you can still shot during the event but only guns that have no jam animations.

Yeah, which leaves 3% of all the guns functional to use lol. Plus the drum mags for the ppsh are now multiple hundreds of thousands on flea right now because of the event and often sold out through propor.
See it like this. If a gun is designed in a way where a "jam" can't happen. You're good. So that means Break-action, revolving magazine, bolt-action and the ppsh are all guns designed in a manner where jamming won't be an issue. Boltys are however a big maybe. Oh and both the underbarrel grenade launchers and regular grenades work just fine. Can't jam a nade ;)
a revolver cant even jam so it makes sense i guess, they could have done the doctor who thing of "the lead is expanding inside our magazines so we cant fire bullets" lol
My favorite part of this event is the sweet bug where someone starts the ritual and I can't see the light beam.....

I also love the bit where now if I kill one rogue on Lighthouse, all the rest of them immediately radar lock and bum rush me. And unless I have a 100 round magazine i'm pre-dead
@@Espo97734oh so that's how they work during the event lol I was wondering why all of them and their Mother rushed me after killing one of them in the North building since I've never see them do that before. Luckily I could just cheese them in the little shack and they came in large enough intervals giving me time to reload. 2 AI scavs also rushed me after killing the first rogue

Would have liked this event more since cultist seem very prevalent in this Halloween event, that they should have been able to spawn on ALL maps(excluding the ritual), instead of their normal spawnable maps like woods and shoreline.
They're worse than pissing out glass (my opinion)
I have literally never seen a cultist before this event and I almost exclusively play night raids... They most certainly should be more common
I don't know, I have 3k hours atm and outside of events I have seen them like 3 times. I met bloodhounts few times but atm both of them don't exist I guess. Or are like 1% spawn chance

I think an extraction shooter set in the Stalker world would like knock EFT out of the waters, I feel like the world just lends itself to that kind of gameplay sooooo well.

Zryachi is my favorite boss design wise so seeing him just vibing around the place is sick. Bonus points when he tosses me a shine
I've started playing a week ago and this event is such a big kick in the balls. Either I'm getting stabbed by the boss, or cultists spawn near me and a meta worm guns me down because he wants some lab keys.
Upd. Just spawned in as a scav and got stabbed 7 seconds into a raid
To be fair you started hella late into wipe, you were gonna have a rough time regardless

@@LeJohnnyBoy makes quests progress faster because of all extracts being open before zarachi dying did like 5 quests really fast cuz of it so theres ups and downs to it

I also could not see the blue light 90% of my raids, so that was super fun
My issue with this event (which has been great regardless of this) is that the majority of the people could not see the bluelight 90% of the raids. So if we didn't hear gun shots and make a guess where the cultist were; we had to leave in 5 minutes or die
Edit: Only got extract camped once, and they failed. Haven't really had this issue bc I guess most people died/left before I exfil'd.

As a new player, this event was hell. It was probably good for normal players, but being limited to either essentially deathmatch maps or getting only one extract point on maps I don’t know at all is ridiculously frustrating. Plus, if the ritual succeeds, he hunts down all of the other players, leading to me being killed. I really wish there was servers without the event, so new players could play the game. Event seems cool, but me running an SKS with a map pulled up on my other monitor in pitch black fog dying to things that I can’t see was very disheartening and not fun.

Yea, I'm like 3 weeks into the game and this event was bad. I didn't play at all for 2 days and then came back to just do scav runs. The first game it happened, I had no idea what was going on, was 20 sec away from my extract when ritual started and it closed, so I had to hoof it back to the other side of the map, when I got Michael Meyer'd by Zyrachi and couldn't do anything. Trying to run away resulted in him shooting me in the back and ruining the 2 quests I had done. The cultists are cracked out shots who give no fks and can headshot you from across the map and rush you when you are close. I've only managed to nearly stop the ritual once, I got 4 cultists and a 5th charged me while I was reloading.
On the plus side, almost all of my gear has been returned on insurance
Ive been absolutely loving it. both fighting the cultists and the crazy amounts of PvP it brought.
There needs to be away to opt out of events in Tarkov, Dont get me wrong i enjoyed the event for the first 5-10 raids, However after that i was kinda forced to play other games due to the event being on every map and forced on me.
You can just loot up, kill a scav, and extract right where you spawned, making it even safer than normal tarkov cuz you'll always have an extract in your back

My favorite part of the event is when the day/night cycle doesn't stop and its constantly rotating when I am trying to find the blue beam (which only shows up half the time). The biggest benefit from that is the next raid is always daytime (even when picking night time) up until we kill Bossman again, then rinse repeat. It was super annoying to deal with last night.
PVP has been super lack luster, I never see anyone outside of them extract camping the only available extract LOL.
"Angry Sriracha sauce" has got to be my new favorite name for this boss
"Getting shived by a pack of scavs" and "Grenade dodgeball" are my favorite sayings in this video that were not expected at all.

i agree with you on the giving the incentive to move even though ive mostly been camped/ratted (ex. guy sitting on the table first floor ruaf entrance at crackhouse) but i did have an awesome fight with a couple of pmcs and the goons killed all 3 of them and got red off knight too!!

The fact that BSG intentionally left ONE extract open can only mean 1 thing: they genuinely think extract camping is fun.
Like maybe they want more "LE EPIC STREAMER DEATH COMPILATION" videos, but the one extract thibg is what makes me mad in this event.

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, But the giant blue beam telling you where the cultists are. It does not show up in my game. I have to have my teammates tell me where the cultists are, So it's a bit annoying when half of the event I can't take part in.

Found a green card in the pockets of a cultist, so you can find really good keys.

I think the cultists have the "Tagged and cursed" property. Not sure what it does exactly but I'm pretty sure it puts a giant target on your back for AI. They know where you are at all times, range and "soft cover" (bushes) becomes irrelevant.
Try playing practice with this tag with hoard on factory and you'll find that even your 100 round PKM box mag is rather little when they rush you, giving you no quarter.
I thought grenades worked. The discord announcement said "...players will have to use grenades or get creative to kill..." From that same announcement, wearing the pumpking before he spawns or maybe even the ritual starts will negate the debuffs when fighting the boss.
Oh and he doesn't "slowly make his way around to map to stab" someone. When he first spawns, he's going to be within 10m of his intended target (no clue how it's dermined). When the target dies, he _teleports_ to the next target (idk how close he can or will tp). You can prowl around as a scav for 5 mins after the ritual succeeded, loot a weapon box, grab a AK74N, close the box and look up, lo and behold, he's standing infront of you with an AKS (I think, I actually never got stabbed by him even at close range). Did I mention that you that you have sweept the area he came from beforehand? (Southern side of the construction site on Streets, the two wooden weapon boxes that spawn side by side, he simply appeared on the wooden ramp)
I love being brand new to the game and it gets so dark I can't see. The first time it happened I was so confused because the sun just flew across the sky lmao.
The only time I've seen angry zyriachi he shot me in the face as soon as he rounded the corner
I’ve been farming cultists and vengeful zyrachy with friends using Ppsh’s, double barrel shotguns, mp18s and revolvers. Essentially any gun that doesn’t jam can work. I’ve only been running customs and interchange so that it’s a relatively smaller map. I have used nades too. Unsure if the underbarrel GL works though.
Every PMC in the raid should have banded together to try and kill the giga Zryachi while the cursed PMC kites him

As a Scav I seen him kill a friend of mine then almost like a speed hack disappeared in the direction he was pointing.

There are these memes going around in russian side of the Tarkov community about "СБЭУ Комар" or "SBEC Mosquito" in english.
There are more examples of Tarkov fauna like SBEC Mosquito, SBEC Frog for example, thought it be interesting to share
For me the biggest downside of the event is it really made playing EFT "normally" impossible. My raid buddy and I decided to take advantage of the sudden darkness and brought in NVGs and thermals to do a little PMC hunting.
On the point of extracts, I think that stopping the ritual should have reopened all of the extracts.

why tf has your experience been so much better than mine... zrachiy has _never_ had a knife against me, always spawns and just 1-2 taps me in the eyes, and the cultists have hit me from miles away through numerous trees etc, even if im scav. its just not fun, ive been constricted to factory because either ritualnny or zrachiy 1 taps my group
armored vest stereotypes... guy who carries 4 SMG mags, and 2 stacks of bullets in the 2 1x1 slots... the guy who rocks it solely bc of it's price and not its space... and the guy who wears it with his shotgun kit cause he intends to insurance fraud it after ratting someone out

i agree with the phantom idea, good horror isnt an immortal monster that you only can run from, that eventually stops being scary and turns into UGH this guy AGAIN, good horror can get hurt and lets you fights it back, BUT IT NEVER DIES, it wil lcome back again and again and again untill you have no bullets and no place to run to, you can fight you can stall but you can never escape it will eventually wear you down from a cocky i can deal with it to a, OH GOD OH FUCK.
I think the one extract thing is cool BUT you need to give everyone different extracts. Breaks up the teams and gives the spookiness without crongj campers
A different extract for each player of the same team would be nuts. Sprinting alone to the extract and hearing my friends scream for help on discord would be a nightmare
I think your criticism of the event was really good. I think the worst part was the one extract part of the event, when the ritual was happening or if it was successful 1 extract would be fine, but once it failed that sucked. The only person who got all the extracts was the person who killed sauce boy.
I killed sauce boy and only got one single extract too. It was too broken.

The greatest rush I have had in all of my tarkov play. Z was inside at reserve he gave me moonshine. I heard a ton of players outside and thought my only option is to kill z and make them focus on killing cultists. So I kill him and steal all I can as fast as I can butthe ONLY EXTRACT WAS THE TRAIN!!! I accepted my fate as there was still 28 min left in raid. I ran towards the train where I saw the blue light outside the watchtower. There was a 4 man of gigachads killing the cultists for me to stop the ritual. I snuck around like a little bitch on my way to the train platform. I got up onto the rafters and prepared to ambush them. The scavs showed up first. I killed one and watched as the train rolled in. Two teams of pmcs fought like crazy with more nades than I have ever heard. I tiptoed into the train car and waited. Then the first guy started running at me I killed him and threw the only nade I had. I said over voip hey why don't we just escape together but no... the next pmc rushed me as the extract countdown happend and he got to the door of the train as it closed only to eat a fuckload m855 (im only level 7). He missed the door by feet and tagged me really bad. I somehow someway escaped tarkov with the 60 rounders and Z's Rssas.
I was the only one to exit on the train.

Definitely has been a very fun event, minus the uh.. Lobbies where the boss dies in the first 30 seconds and then no one manages to kill the cultists and the whole map gets wiped. That, and how buggy the boss and cultists are around player scavs. I have ratted and been ratted when the AI ignore player scavs and only focus PMC's
Let's be real. BSG needs to go look at SPT's SAIN 2.0 AI code to learn how to code a good AI.
Using the word "Awesome" to describe it is too much of a compliment.
As a solo I don't enjoy or partake in the event, let the Trio Chads and the cheaters farm their marked keys in peace.
The cherry on top is the fact that the Blue light which is the key point to the event is bugged, and sometimes doesn't show (which happened to me multiple times).
My only enjoyable and viable option is to just GTFO before people start the Ritual (which is usually around 10 to 15 minutes after the raid starts).
The Phantom-boss idea would have been a much less disruptive idea for an event that might've been easier for the Small indie-team BSG to implement; bonus is if you kill the phantom (or make him disappear) he drops the jack-o-lantern item or just random loose loot on the ground.

I have been able to pvp quests and a ton of other quests due to players basically going to blue beam. But when they fail to stop the ritual and im the only pmc left its a little annoying.

Idk why I decided to play right now with my lvl10, couldn't play at the start of the wipe cause some networking problems, 50% of the time I tried to play, the game just wouldn't let me. I played 4 raids on woods trying to plant Jaeger stuff at zb14, spawned near USEC capm all the times, looted ledx, and then died to a player because my shitty ammo didn't pen the helmet and one time 2 shots of lps ricocheted off of the tank helmet

As someone who started recently to learn the basis again for next wipe, this event really sucks. I've gotten killed twice by unkillable boss while questing and last scav raid I spawned in front of him and got insta killed (5 sec raid yay) other than that the one extract, long timer is just exfill camp central. Hate forced events you can't opt out of, just decided to stop playing untill the event is over
I donť know why, but except first encounter, Vengeance Zryachiy always take out his gun on me and killed me with it. I wasn´t knifed at all by him.
how have you not seen undead Zryachiy fire his gun, the only 2 times i met him yet, both times he just shot me, and once he was literally in my face doing it, is it just me that has this kind of luck?

What a good time to be a Factory main lol. The event could have been fun, but getting insta domed by aimbot AI you need to cheese is not fun. BSG just uses "games not supposed to be fun" as a cheap excuse for their short comings.
hey leviticus i have been running this event for a few hours and i have just been running the ppsh since it can't jam, also you can kill zyrachiy with it as he has 6,666 hp on every limb so with a shit tonne of drums you can kill him

PPSH meh use the m575 shell in the M203 GL can 1-2 tap him it dose 2850 dmg a shell as its buckshot shot him in the face

Im lvl 44 trying to helped a friend lvl whos 20. Have hated this event. Hes also whipped us multiple tjmes with his gun. Also been extract camped far more the last few days
