I picked up the Chantecaille quad over Chanel. Mainly because I think Chantecaille is more impactful and each color looked gorgeous on their own as a one and done. Pastels are not my thing as well so Chantecaille was the obvious choice for me. Now I’m eyeing those lip chic shades you put on. Both are so beautiful

They both look lovely but I would go for the Chantecaille. I’m passing on both, it’s not really my color story so I already know I will barely use it. Thank you for comparing the two Jenn! Your reviews and swatch comparisons are always super helpful
Love the necklace! Thanks for demoing this Chantecaille quad. I’m also not super thrilled with the packaging. I’m waiting on the Chanel as I do like pastel shades! That pink in the Chantecaille is just not my favorite. Thanks for all the hard work you put into your channel and reviews Jen!

Hi Jennifer! Thank you for featuring the Chantecaille quartet - and suggesting it as an alternative to the Chanel Délices quad. I have the Chanel and I find the formula too sheer and too dry (the lavender barely shows on my primed lids). Do you think the two quads would pair well?
Hi. Thank you for the video. What is your final thoughts about these two quads? Which one you will prefer? Overall I’m as a viewer not interested in Chantecalle at all, because firstly it’s not available in my country, second I think it’s too expensive.

The CHANTECAILLE spring collection is my GO TO FAVORITE right now .. I am 55 and I LOVE the blushes and the quad .. the lip chics are ok just because of their color .. I don’t feel like they go with the pink in the quad .. they need a little purple in them.. I am Medium skin tone with freckles and can do both blushes .. I recommend the apple blossom with your lighter skin.. the formula is AMAZING for my skin with lines and some texture ..

I must admit I prefer the delicacy of the Chanel, but then I’m into the whole Le Blanc look which is more delicate and either subtly crystalline or pearlescent. Different strokes for different folks! 😊. The Chantecaille is lovely, but it is too much like colors that I already have. To me, the Chanel has a more traditional spring color story.
Wow. Stunning today. And that necklace is Gorgeous ! I am a sucker for their packaging. But I did skip 😊. It wasn’t a wow. Edit again. I don’t like the glitter fall out in the hummingbird collection. That blue shade. 😮
Thanks for the comparisons. The Chanel came to Canada and literally sold out within hours. Local retailer only was sent two of each product from Chanel. So odd/you would think that they would want to have good sales. Anyhoooo.
I finally tried my first Chantecaille Eye Quad as this was the colour story that looked different enough to entice me to try. I'm actually wearing it now. I'm not a 'pink' person either, far from it, yet this shade is quite different. Although I own one of their Lip Balms which I'm very impressed with, the Lip Chic in Meadow was so moisturised that it wouldn't stay in place and travelled all over my lips. I'm not sure whether to try another or if they are all the same. I have extremely dry lips but this didn't want to 'sink in' but simply stay on top - unevenly. I had on lip liner plus Dior's Universal Lip-liner but to no avail. I've heard so much about these Lip Chics but was quite disappointed. Curious as to who has tried Crocus? Any suggestions welcome! Love the look of the Chanel Quad, yet I'm waiting to see how much we'll be stung in Australia, same with the Blush. Does anyone know the difference in content between the Chanel Blush and Chantecaille, preferably in grams? Thanks for the comparison Jen, although shades look very different on you than they do on myself. I love hearing your opinion anyway. If this upcoming Summer Chantecaille release is nicer than the current Chanel, I'd rather wait.🇦🇺💖🕊
I have the CROCUS and it is pretty with medium skin tone.. but I don’t think it goes with the eye and yep doesn’t last .. I have the new cle de peau lips and love those .. I DO love both blushes from chantecaille too .. hope that helps
@@annnoe9058 Thanks so much. With everyone raving about the Lip Chics, I was wondering why mine wasn't working like all the others. I bought the Meadow shade and that doesn't match the Quad either. It's a lovely colour and I've actually got it on today with my Chanel Quad. It's not a great match either but I was desperate to try it again. Don't know what happened the first time I wore it, it just didn't apply evenly and just slid off. After trying the Balm that came out with the Sunbeam Cheek Eye Shade, I was so impressed that I wore it out over a Lip Liner and it never budged. I didn't have to re-apply until later on that day. I was hoping the Lip Chics would perform better, so I'm giving it another try. Sounds like Crocus may be too bright for my fair complexion and tiny lips. I do like colour but not overly bright. I appreciate you helping me out. Sorry about the late reply, things have been rather hectic, which I'm sure you'd understand. Hope you have a wonderful Easter.💖🐇💐🐣

If I had to choose between the Chanel and the Chantecaille quad, I'd be opting for the latter. Had the Chanel "lilac/lavender" shade been more pigmented, I would have chosen that quad - I love lilacs 😊
I don't like the packaging either. It's very reminiscent of the famous Kew Gardens (annual flower show) merchandise, which I've never been drawn towards. To use random flower pictures (in my very humble opinion), encased in plastic, makes the quad look "cheap" . Sorry 🙈

Kinda want to compare the Chanel quad with the new limited edition Suqqu quad, I think the color palette is similar but Suqqu is more pigmented and glittery. Although I already bought the Suqqu cause that’s a no brainer hahaha 🤣

The pre summer one, I think the limited edition shade that I picked up is 122 which is kinda of similar to the color story to the Chanel quad but more wearable and pigmented. Although I do love Chanel, I am really enjoying the quality of Suqqu more and I hope they open more stores, cause even here in Tokyo a lot of their products sold out fast 🤣🤣😅

What is the comparison in price between the Chanel and Chantecaille?
The chantecaille is $78 and we don't know how much the Chanel will be in the US because it hasn't released yet. to give you an idea the Tweed eyeshadows were $88 and the regular quads are $68.
