When newly wed couple stays away from their parents, both of them grow mentally. It definitely takes toll financially but it makes them stronger at the end. At the same time parents also get their own time and sense of end of parenthood.

अगर बेटे बहू को नजदीक या दूर separate रखते है तो अंदर अंदर का मन मुटाव , या daily कुछ ना कुछ ill feelingss collect हो कर कलेश जैसा हो जाता है । हो सकता है ऊपर से कोई कुछ ना कहे पर अंदर love कम होकर नापसंदगी पैदा हो जाती है ।
और 70 yrs के बाद जब सच मे आपको जरूरत होती है तब पहले ही बहू का मन सास , ससुर से खुश ना होने के कारण , बहू कुछ नही करेगी और बेटा भी आपके हाथ से जायेगा , अगर उन्हें अलग रखा होता day to day feelings खराब नहीं होती , तो हो सकता है , बेटा , बहू आपकी सेवा कर देते ।

I feel suffocated in my inlaws house...we r living in 4 bhk flat, one room is for dadi saas,, one for fil mil,, one for devar devarani and one for us..ghar nhi chidiya Ghar hai..sab takarein marte hain ek doosre se yahan ..no bonding at all...ladne ko tayar and kitchen mein kaam karna ek challenge hai...pata nhi ye sab dekhkar bhi na mere husband kuchh karte hain aur na hi mere father in law...meri mother in law to meri jaan ki dushman bani hui hai aur dono bhaiyon mein aur devarani aur mere beech mein farak karti hain...i feel like taking divorce frm my husband...no body supports me.

Get a job,change city and live seperately from that house..ask husband to join after some months..mene bhi yahi kiya

There is one problem, if the girl deserves an independent unit/flat after marriage, this will increase the demand for dowry. Boys Parents will say we don't have money to give them an independent house and will create a lot of social disturbance.
